A Fall Out Boy Clone That Actually Might Be Better Than The Real Thing, June 16, 2008
This review is from: Whoa Oh! (Me vs Everyone) (MP3 Download)
Sorry, but this song could have been easily done by Fall Out Boy, and at times, it sounds exactly like them. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. From the song title, to the melody, and maybe even the vocals. But wait, the vocals could be a bit better however. Patrick Stump is okay in the studio, and is part of the band's trademark sound, but his live voice is truly pathetic. It's hard to tell here, but the vocals for FTSK might be better.
Anyways, the song is catchy, rockin' and all that. So the song isn't bad at all, and in fact it's pretty good for a modern rock song. A bit radio-friendly, and highly unoriginal, but good nonetheless.
