About the Author

Obstetrician and Gynecologist Christiane Northrup is a foremost advocate of women's health and wellness. She received her medical degree form Dartmouth Medical School and went on to complete her residency at Tufts New England Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals, where she received a Teacher of the Year Award at Tufts Medical School. Dr. Northrup wrote Womens' Bodies, Women's Wisdom, a book that combined holistic health with conventional medicine for optimal well being.

I picked up this book at a women's health seminar. In the last six months I've changed my life and it's never been better. As I approach 40, I look back and the years of depression, unhappiness, failed relationships, etc. Had I only know about things like St. John's Wort, 5HTP, certain vitamins & minerals, behavior modification software like Neurosync, light and sound machines to relax, sleep, and motivate, I would not have suffered for two decades. This book details holistic alternatives such as these and provides a myriad of positive techniques to improve your life. I have a new career, new mate, lost 19 pounds, and I owe my wonderful life and these great changes to this book and it's recommended techniques. BUY IT AND TRY IT. You have nothing to lose except for lost time.
