I am a HUGE SHeDaisy fan, and their album "The Whole SHeBang" is among my all tme favorites.
Their latest "All Mixed Up" is a great addition to my collection. Normally, I wouldn't have bought an album that only has the same songs as the last one, but I made an exception in this case....and I'm glad I did.
This new album has all my favorite songs, in new mixes, and it doesn't dissapoint. While I do prefer the original over the mixes, this does add a nice variety. These girls know what they're doing and I hope that they keep up the good work. I can's wait for a cd with all new material, and "All MIxed Up" will hold me over until then just fine. And their Christmas Album "Brand New Year" actually restored my faith in holiday music...I had to hide it from myself to keep from listening to it again until this holiday season, I cant wait to hear it again.
On an interesting side note, I wrote a letter to Kassidy a while back, and she actually replied to it. That was so sweet of her...she is truly one of the greatest vocalists I know of. And I'm not just saying that because she wrote me back. If you're reading this Kassidy, please write again.

I gave both "The Whole SHeBANG" and "Brand New Year" five stars - they are both EXCELLENT "pop" (more so than country) releases with gorgeous harmonies, tight, creative arrangements, and sparkling production. Girls, what were you thinking? Here we get all of the original vocal tracks from "The Whole SHeBANG" remixed with new instrumental tracks. On a couple of tracks they are made to sound more country... a new steel guitar here, a country fiddle there, but the new instruments sound out of place as though they were added on as an afterthought, which is exactly what we've got here, right? For the most part the tracks are given a brutal modern feel which completely ruines tracks like "I Will... But" and the hillarious "Lucky 4 You". I can't think of one mix included here that is an improvement over the original version so why bother?

"All Mixed Up"? Indeed. I would say someone was not thinking clearly when this release was put together. Let's hope that SHeDAISY and producer Dan Huff get things all sorted out before returning to the studio to work on the next release.

This Christmas I recieved this CD, and I popped it in the CD player in europe and I thought, "Oh no! The european CD players completely messed up my cd!" I have always thought that the cd player [messed] up the cd, mixing backrounds from songs together, and slowing it down, until now. Now, after visiting Amazon.com, I found out that I wasn't the only one with this problem. Then I realized that the title of the album wasn't "All Mixed up," but it was "The Whole Shebang." I do NOT suggest buying the "all mixed up" because all it is is really weird versions of the songs from the original albums.

I listened to this cd in a music store earlier today and I was completely disappointed. I have the original Whole Shebang cd, which I listened to nonstop for the longest time. I couldn't stand to listen to the first 30 seconds of this one. So I decided to flip through the tracks to see if I could find one song I liked. Didn't happen. All's they did to change the songs was to add special effects, which made it sound space-age-like. And unlike the first cd, which had a good beat to each of the songs, this one was lacking. It would be impossible to sing along or even tap your foot along with this music. I think this cd was just an attempt to make money without having to come up with anything new. Very disappointed, ladies. And to all of you thinking about buying this cd, take my advice, stick with the original.

Harmonies that rival those of the Eagles and Crosby Stills Nash and Young, not to mention the Forester Sisters, Dixie Chicks and the Oakridge Boys. These ladies have wonderful voices which sound great together. The songs are fun and I love to sing along to them. I play this CD regularly in both my home and my car. It's definitely a keeper

There are not enough words to express my disappointment for this CD. I went into the music store with the intent of buying a CD with familiar music on it, I looked at the back of the CD to make sure it had all the songs on it that I wanted -- not knowing that SHEdaisy had two CD's with virtually the same name and all the same songs on it. After popping it into my CD player I was extremely upset after realizing that what was coming out of my stereo was [not very good], and not even close to the music I had hoped to hear. I listened to all of my favorite songs just to make sure I wasn't imagining things, but to my dismay the CD was a sheer disappointment. I wasted $14 on a CD that will never be listened to in its entirety but will instead grace the backseat of my car until I find a new home for it, perhaps the garbage??

i first listened to my best friend's copy of The Whole Shebang on an airplane flying home from france. i loved it and decided to buy my own. my friend offered to burn it for me when she returned from her florida trip- but i couldnt wait 3 weeks. i went to the store but all they had was the remix cd. i figured i'd buy it then and it could sustain me as i waited for my friend abbys copy.
however, i was suprised when i listened to it. it was awesome, and very upbeat. i especially love the beginning of 'i will..but', it has a lot of variety. i actually like this cd better than the original. the only song i really can't stand is 'lucky 4 you'. that is just [bad].

This CD has got to be one of my all time FAVORITE CDs!! SheDaisy is one of my favorite country artists, and definitely one of my favorite trios! Actually, they ARE my favorite trio! This CD is so awesome, the best songs are 'I Will...But', 'Before me and you', and 'Dancin' with Angels'. The others are also wonderful! The sound effects and the new rhythms are amazing!! I HIGHLY recommend this CD for anyone who likes modern country or pop country. It's the BEST!!

SHeDAISY rocks on this CD... not only is it my favorite SHeDAISY album, but one of my all time favorite albums by any artist... yes it is that good!
How unique to remix a whole album! and what a job they did it is outstanding... "LITTLE GOOD BYES" is similar to the original with a more driving sound... you'll like this version a lot! "I WILL...BUT" is outstanding soooooo much better than the hit version, the song starts off with the girls amazing vocals with no music then builds up and explodes into a hard rocking version of the song... so HOT!!!!!! "THIS WOMAN NEEDS" is also similar to the hit single release, but the girls have turned it into a Power Ballad making it much stronger than the original. "BEFORE ME AND YOU" Rocks from the get go... I didn't think you could improve the original, but man you can this song is one of the finest rockers on the CD. "LUCKY 4 YOU (TONIGHT I'M JUST ME)" is another song that rocks and and once again is so much better than the hit version. "STILL HOLDING OUT FOR YOU" is very similar to the hit version. "PUNISHMENT" is a complete opposite of what you might expect on this album, where the original version is much more pop sounding, here they've turned this song into a very country almost hoedown sounding song very different than anything else on the album...but... just as addictive as the rest of the album. I like it just as much as the original but for all different reasons. "CAUSE I LIKE IT THAT WAY" totally rocks (but not in a hard rock way) and once again will blow you away with the outstanding production and vocals once again are just as good or better than the original. The only song I feel that falls short from the original version is "A NIGHT TO REMEMBER" on this song they slow it down, and with a dominate piano, which is fine... but the original is just much better with that awesome country/pop sound from SHeDAISY, I wish the original version was on the album. "WITHOUT YOUR LOVE" has a really neat haunting sound that you'll love, this song and "THIS WOMAN NEEDS" stand out as the best ballads from this album. And finally they saved the best song for last "DANCING WITH ANGELs". This song soars it is simply perfect! Man... it sounds awesome... put it in and crank it up... it'll blow you away... amazing vocals and amzing music and production. You can tell from the first note that this song is something special... building up... then building up some more... and before you know it you're on the musical magical journey, that you hope never ends... even at over 5 min long this still flies by so fast. I understand that SHeDAISY took a lot of heat for this album, but I LOVE IT! I love the fact that SHeDAISY isn't afraid to push the boundries a little that they don't fall in the cookie cutter mold of Nashville... and to think that this album has a country underlining and comes off so cutting edge... so awesomely cool... If you want a AWESOMELY HOT CUTTING EDGE ALBUM THAT ROCKS... You want this album... you won't be dissapointed. IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL! Thanks SHeDAISY!

Not as good as the original. They've changed the mix for my favorites, and they don't sound as good.
