5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Album Released in 1999.
My first reaction to SHeDAISY was like my reaction to most other new country acts. CLICK! 3.0 out of 5 stars What's Up With This?
I like "Little Goodbyes", but why do they feel the need to sing songs about murdering their husbands? Why don't they try something different than a lot of other counrty artists do? It's no wonder these ladies are penned as a Dixie-Chick copy -- they sing about the same things..

My first reaction to SHeDAISY was like my reaction to most other new country acts. CLICK! Soon thereafter, I would catch myself humming the tune to LITTLE GOODBYES even though I had only heard a small portion of it. Not so long after that, I was flipping past CMT and caught THIS WOMAN NEEDS. Abruptly, my ears became keen. My eyes were opened and I became a fan. I was captivated by Kassidy's amazing lead paired with the vocals of her two older siblings. Kelsi's high harmony touched my heart and Kristyn's alto made me fly. Instantaneously, I was converted. "I hadn't heard a song like this in years," I exclaimed. "Leave it to me, a fan of the 60's and the 70's and U2, to become a country fan." I began to sing their praises trying to get everyone I could to listen to the son. An added bonus to the vocals was that each sister was easy on the eyes. I felt transformed, but I still hadn't bought the album. What was holding me back? It was not until I heard their arrangement of DECK THE HALLS that I succumbed a bought their album. Each song took me on a trip and my only complaint was that there wasn't more, but I'm not worried, I'm just holding out until the next album. SHeDAISY's vocal talent is beyond comparison and if I were to make a guess as to their talent, it would be in relation to another of my favorite bands. Let's see, three siblings, amazing harmonies, the ability to write their own songs, and the emotion they put into their music which adds to the wide rand of the songs. The Brothers Gibb. One of the better differences though is that The Sisters Osborn Kassidy, Kelsi, and Kristyn are much sexier that Barry, Robin, and Muarice. Hopefully, many will agree, and from what I've read, keep agreeing and give SHeDAISY the recognition they truly deserve.

5.0 out of 5 stars SHeDAISY turns country "Upsy-DAISY"!, June 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Whole Shebang (Audio CD)
My wife was watching GAC (Great American Country) when the video for "Little Goodbyes" came on. The incredible harmonies, which reminded me of Wilson Philips (but with a bit more edge), and Dylanesque harmonica, caught my attention and I was glued. Caught the video again and I had to hear more. Best way to do that? Pick up the CD. This group is incredible... sort of the Beatles meet Wilson Philips meet the Bangles meet Dixie Chicks meet Shania. This album is incredible! From the outrageously witty hit "Little Goodbyes" and "Lucky 4 You" to the beautiful ballads ("This Woman Needs", "Holding out for You", and "Without Your Love"), and everthing in between, "The Whole SHeBANG" is one of the best country/pop albums I've heard in a long time. There are definitely country roots to the material but every song is just filled with pop hooks galore... each time I listen I hear something new. I will be amazed if this group doesn't capture the CMA and ACM awards this year for best new artist.

And as for my comparisons to those other artists, don't think for a minute that SHeDAISY is in any way derivitive. They are striking in their originality.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very, very good CD!, May 22, 2003
By
This review is from: Whole Shebang (Audio CD)
My sister's a huge country fan, and she was listening to this CD over the summer, and I love it! It's the first country album I've ever listened to straight through!

1.)Little Goodbyes - This one's so fun! A great first song, because it's catchy and you can't wait to see what else is on the CD! 5/5
2.)I WIll...But - I like this one a lot too! It's another bubbly, catchy song, I especially like the guitar playing in it! 5/5
3.)This Woman Needs - The first slower song on the album. I like it a lot, because it's sadder than any other SHeDAisy song I've ever heard. 5/5
4.)Before Me and You - First impressions say this song will be cheesy, with the first line and all. But it's not! It's another great one! 5/5
5.)Lucky For You (Tonight I'm Just Me) - I really like this one, 'cause you get great mental images, and the vocals are really fun! 5/5
6.)Still Holding Out For You - Once again, I rate this one 5/5 - I love the piano in the beginning and the vocals are beautiful! 5/5

7.)Punishment - I dont care for this one as much as the rest, the beginning sounds kind of churchy so you expect a slow song, but it's really upbeat. 4/5
8.)'cause I Like it That Way - As the rest of the songs, I love this one! I like the "Hey Jack, take back, all those lines" in the beginning. 5/5
9.)Without You Love - Another pretty, slower song. 5/5
10.)Night to Remember - Probably the best faster song on the CD. It's sooo fun! 5/5
11.)Dancing With Angels - The other song I don't like. It's not bad, just not my style. 4/5

*There are only two songs on here that I dont think are amazing, and that's really good! I love this CD and highly reccommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Appealing to the those of us with twang-itis, June 19, 2000

I have to admit, I am not the biggest country fan in the world. I can only handle it in small doses. But when it comes to SheDaisy, I can handle the whole Shebang! (corny joke, I know) Probably because they have a lot of pop enthused sound too. But my favorite tracks on the album are varied, the sad and soulful, "Holding Out For You," (why does every one dis on Richard Marx?), the relatable and fun "Lucky 4 You". I also enjoy the rest of the tracks and I think they can sing well besides the harmonies (which are fantastic) People need to get over such things as the 'murder' in "A Night To Remember", that's tame compared to what other people write in their songs. Don't try to call them Dixie Chicks copies, just judge them on their own right. You may be pleasantly surprised.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just the beginning..., March 24, 2000
This review is from: Whole Shebang (Audio CD)
The sisters of SHeDaisy have managed to put together a fabulous freshman album. I am sure you have heard their radio hits "Little Good-byes" and "This Woman Needs", but there are many more great songs packed onto this CD. My personal favorites are "Lucky 4 You (Tonight I'm Just Me)", (my sister and I love driving down the highway singing this one), "Still Holding Out For You" which was co-written by Richard Marx, "Cause I Like It That Way", and the Controversial "A Night to Remember". I will NOT compare them with the Dixie Chicks because they are two different groups, with two different sounds both unique and singular. You cannot miss with this CD! This is just the beginning of great things for SHeDaisy!

Best all-girl three-part harmony since the Andrews Sisters, but with a modern country sensibility. Well written, well produced. Can't say enough good things.

5.0 out of 5 stars SHeDaisy... The Whole SHeBOMB, December 16, 1999

I usually don't listen to Country but when I heard these ladies from Utah, I was totally hooked. Their music contains a little bit of everything. From Country, Pop, R&B, and Blues. Although I mostly listen to R&B, I just love this CD. This CD is a must to your collection. Keep up the great work Kristyn, Kelsi, and Kassidy. Much love, peace, and happiness... Jay's Jook Joint.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Country CD in the World!, December 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Whole Shebang (Audio CD)
After having and listening to this CD for over 5 months and still not being tired of it, I have come to this conclusion: "The Whole Shebang" is the best country CD in the world. I love it! It's got more of an upbeat sound, but all of it is country (besides that hideous beginning to "I Will..." Sorry girls, but I have no idea what possessed you to start a song like that). Besides that one single flaw on the CD, the rest of it is absolutely great. Better than the Dixie Chicks... Way better than Shania Twain. Some of my favorites on the CD are "Little Goodbyes," "Lucky 4 You (Tonight I'm Just Me)", "This Woman Needs," "Cause I like It That Way," and "Night to Remember (no, it's not the Joe Diffie song)." Better yet, Kristyn Osborne (one of the sisters) writes all the songs on the CD. It's just not fair that someone can have that much musical talent: Writing great songs, Singing great songs, Producing one great CD...
