This review is from: Why Do I Need Whole Food Supplements? What Everyone Must Know About the Vitamins They Are Taking (Paperback)
This book explains many of the problems of today's western diet, the diseases they cause and what we can all do make ourselves healthier. Through this book we learn that eating well is difficult in today's world, so to get the nutrients we need we may need nutritional supplements. Then she tells us the difference in good and bad nutritional supplements. This book is a quick easy read that packs in a lot of information.

I gained knowledge about supplements and the need to learn more about them before purchasing them. She writes with bits of humor thrown in here and there. Easy, fast reading.

A good buy from Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm really glad I got and read this book., September 17, 2011
This review is from: Why Do I Need Whole Food Supplements? What Everyone Must Know About the Vitamins They Are Taking (Paperback)
It's important to know before you purchase vitamins that you should always find out if the vitamin is derived from natural sources or synthetic sources. Always go with natural. It's better for the body.

Also, if you eat a bowl of organic spinach, you get a lot of nutritients. However, to get the same amount of nutrients from conventional (non-organic) spinach, you'd have to eat about five or six bowls to match the nutrients in one bowl of organic spinach. Organic food is nutritionally dense and you get more for your money when you go organic.

These are things I learned from this book, among others. Written in a style that anyone can understand and read.
