Classic Must Have Album,
By
This review is from: The Whole World Is Goin' Crazy (Audio CD)
You are not alone and there are tons of fans who continue to attend their sold old concerts, its just that any big April Wine fan already has this album. This is a nice pick up for newbies as it plays a pivotal role in the evolution of the band from the more singles oriented success of previous albums like Stand Back, Electric Jewels, and On Record to the harder edged sound that would define them on their most commercially successful albums and tours for First Glance, Harder Faster and Nature of the Beast.
This record has great rockers- Gimme Love, Shotdown, brilliant ballads- Like a Lover Like A Song, Wings of Love, and classic April Wine boogie like the title track and much underrated Kick Willie Rd. If you like April Wine you can't help but like this album and if you are curious about them this is a really good choice.

70's Once More,

This review is from: The Whole World Is Goin' Crazy (Audio CD)
I seem to be the last April Wine fan. No one around me (except my sister) even knows who they are (were). And this CD is one of there best. Fun and funky, it showcases the great guitar work, and sense of humor, that made rock and roll in the seventies the benchmark yet to be surpassed.
