As an acupuncturist that specializes in women's health and nutrition, I am constantly looking for good resources for my patients. It's hard to find a comprehensive cookbook that's low glycemic, gluten-free, vegetarian, and mostly vegan. This book was exactly what I needed! I've already made the Cauliflower, Leek & Garlic soup twice and it's absolutely delicious. My patients love it, and I can't wait to try absolutely every recipe in the book! Let me start off by saying that I read this book for free through Amazon Prime lending. I'm really glad that I got it for free because although there were a couple of recipes in this e-book that I will try out, it definitely would not have been worth the nearly $10 asking price. The book seemed even shorter than the 115 pages it claims, and some of the recipes like hummus and baba ganoush can be found anywhere. Most of the "bonus" information included I had read elsewhere, so even that wasn't anything new. If the price was dropped to the $3 - $4 range, I think it would be a better buy.

Not only are Elizabeth's recipes healthy, they're also delicious! I never thought I would like raw kale, but "My Favorite Raw Salad" is so tasty, I'm actually excited about eating a big healthy bowl of raw kale. Seriously. If you're interested in eating healthy but also want food that tastes GREAT, check this book out.

What a great cookbook! I have altered my diet so much in the past, and in the process have had to do much hunting to find quality, health focused cookbooks that also were simple and used ingredients I could actually find at the grocery store. This booked filled a huge gap with lots of ideas for gluten-free and processed-sugar free recipes that are easy to follow, and so tasty! Glad i found this gem!

A friend led me to follow Elizabeth Rider's blog and her advice was priceless! I've been anticipating the release of WholeEating Cookbook and she continues to impress me. The cookbook is well formatted and filled with lots of wonderful recipes that are easy to do at home. What I love is that the recipes are quite nutritious, gluten-free, low-glycemic and delicious!

My girlfriends and I are already planning a dinner party where we are making a meal exclusively using recipes from WholeEating Cookbook. Nicely done including a section on beverages. :) Can't wait to get cooking!!!!

I have a cookbook fetish - I buy lots of them. Usually when I get a new cookbook, I browse all the way through. I feel like I have a winner if there are one or two recipes that I want to make. In the case of this cookbook, I want to make every single recipe and I want to make them right now! I've never felt that way about a cookbook. Imagine - so many recipes, so good for you! Got to go - I've got cooking to do!

I've been waiting my whole life for WholeEating Cookbook! I'm primarily vegetarian and my husband is gluten-free. I feel like this cookbook was created just for us! This cookbook fits my three "musts": affordable, easy and delicious. Another great feature is that no matter what you make from this book, you know it will be healthy and nutritious (her Quinoa Frittata is INCREDIBLE!). I'm also digging the kindle (I downloaded mine to my IPad) version. It's one less thing taking up space in my kitchen and I can easily bookmark recipes I love or want to come back to. This is THE cookbook to purchase for yourself or someone you know. I continue to enjoy my exploration through all the recipes.

Amazingly flavorful and creative recipes abound in this Kindle book. I am only here writing this review because I love using the book so much (and not my Kindle so much on the other hand), that I was just about to purchase it in a "hard" copy. PLEASE find someone to publish this book--it's great to find a book with so many great recipes for creative salads (amongst other things). And the "Crunchy Broccoli & Kale Salad" is my favorite kale salad--and I've tried many from many other "hip" raw and vegan cookbooks. LOVE it.

I grew up in Montana.

I worked my way through college. I landed a spot at and became a top performer a Big 4 accounting firm. (I know--so different than what I do today.)

I checked off all the boxes that society said would make me successful.

And you know what? I wasn't happy. Something didn't feel right. And if I wasn't living the very best version of me, whose version was I living? And why?

So I decided to get serious about creating my ideal life. (Or crazy depending on who you asked at the time; most of the people in my life thought I was insane to leave a highly successful corporate career.) I decided to take the leap to do something I absolutely loved: nutrition and whole living. And it was the best decision of my life to date. Well, maybe the second best, marrying my soulmate was probably the first best. But you get the point.

I now run several nutrition-based businesses entirely online and enjoy an extremely comfortable lifestyle in which I can afford all of life's pleasures, work as much as I choose, and come and go as I please. I'm so extraordinary blessed and grateful for everything I have in my life.

All things said, since entering the world of entrepreneurship, business has quickly become another passion of mine; I'm completely determined to help others do what they were meant to do, and live the lives they were meant to live.

Don't get me wrong--it takes work. Hard work. Elbow grease. And lots of it. But it can be tons of FUN, too. I didn't get here from rich or famous parents, or by having an "in" in the industry--I got here because I hustled my butt off.

And let me tell you: It has been worth every last bit of effort. And I mean that to the core of my soul.

As a Board Certified Health Counselor (AADP), wellness coach, business mentor, and successful entrepreneur, this stuff isn't my passion. It's my life.

Am I committed? No.

Try 100%, all out, wildly determined, can-not-stop-me-if-you-tried, obsessively dedicated.

Consciously cultivating the ideal lifestyle? It's my religion.
