I have used Space Bags without much luck: punctured holes in the brittle plastic, seal not holding, etc. So I thought I would try another brand and the low price on these lured me in. I got 12 bags for the price of maybe 2 Space Bags. I got my entire project done with this one order, and every single bag has held it's seal. I even have a few left, including the roll-up travel bags. I will say that these do not have a one-way valve like the Space Bags, but once you get the hang of quickly putting the top in place it did not make a difference. I will be purchasing these again!

I am swimming in baby clothes since my sons birth and I wanted some vacuum bags to store the sizes he is too big for (for my next baby) or that is isn't into yet. I searched for a good price, hoping to find some the the Space Saver bags on sale somewhere with no luck. When moving I found out that ALL the Space Saver brand bags I've been using to store my maternity clothes, winter blankets, etc. all have leaked and are now ridiculously clumsy to move around. I bought these (I got the 10 pack) figuring they were cheap and if even some didn't leak it was worth the buy. I have since switched all my stuff to these bags. I have moved, re-opened and re-sealed them all several times and they have all taken the beating well.

Last week, one bag got its first leak, but to it's defense, I was trying to smash it sideways into a rubbermaid bin with some other vacuum bags at the time. It is still sitting nicely in that bin, though.

I have recommended these bags and this seller to my friends.

This product is as good as what you may get from QVC or from other popular retail stores. The only negative thing that I can say about it, is that it does not have a zip guide handle to close the edges. You have to manually press it with your fingers to seal it shut on its zip lock line to make sure you have it all sealed. But doing it this way also ensures you have a tight seal. I have sealed king size comforters and sheets on the jumbo or xl ones and for months now it is still as tight as I sealed and suctioned it the first time. And for half the price the popular product cost, I am buying this again should I need more.

I was looking for a no-name product of this so I could afford it and this was a very reasonable price. I needed a bag for very large king size comforters and this was it. The bag is so huge it can fit 2 very large king size comforters in one. What we did was put one comforter and 6 pillows in each, does that tell you how large they are. This is very easy to use just make sure you squeeze the white clamp along the seem to close and it will close perfectly for you.

At first I was amazed at how good it shrunk the old baby clothes but I did notice that the material was kind of bad but I thought it will be durable but that same night two of them riped. Really disappointed because I wanted to store my stuff away and now I'm back where I started with my stuff taking up space. I did like all the bags we got for the price and how big they were but if the material were more durable it would of been better.

I was skeptical on this yet another vacuum bag. I had purchased Spacebag from Target and knew this product would be a hit or miss. At the worst, as many have described in their reviews, this bag would perform as inconsistently as the Spacebag. I am glad to report that this bag is better.

It does two things better than the Spacebag, the vacuum valve and the top seal. Vacuum valve design is what Spacebag should have been. Instead of flimsy and inconsistent leak-as-it-may rubber gasket valves, this valve screws down shut. By screwing the valve to a close, vacuum is ensured at the valve.

Whereas the Spacebag had easy-to-zip but not-so-tight single strip of top seal, this bag has two tighter closing double strip of top seals. They are more difficult to seal, but one can feel that they are sealed tight. After the valve, this was probably the most obvious place where air would leak.

This bag's material is same or comparable to that of the Spacebag. I wish it was more sturdy especially with the larger bag sizes.

This is a good bag and better one than the Spacebag. It has a better valve design that ensures better vacuum at the valve. And the tighter double top seals are better. Heavier bag would have been preferred for the larger sizes. I would definitely purchase this bag again.

I bought these bags this summer and did so primarily for the price. I also bought the more expensive (and I thought better) space bags as a backup in case these were as cheaply made as I feared they might be. Well, in the process of packing away all winter things I split, punctured or otherwise ruined about half of the space bags. These, on the other hand, I handled in the same way and not a single one split or tore. The valve system is different as well, and seems much more securely constructed. Once I figured out the weird diagrams and directions it was easy. Unlike the space bags, I have ben able to remove some of the winter items and refilled the bags with summer, reopened and put more in. I will get many, many more uses from these. I am writing this review because I am here to buy more (I have the storage bug now). Also note, this set--when they say XL JUmbo bag they MEAN it.

These do the job pretty much as well as the name brand version. They do seem a little thinner but it hasn't made any difference to me yet.
I will probably buy these again.

I'm planning a move and wanted to use these not only to save space, but to have my clothing/bedding protected not only during the move but while it's temporarily in storage. The seal takes a little time, I'm not complaining though. Just be aware you want to be absolutely certain the seal is closed - rushing through this simply will not work. At most it's taken me a few minutes to work the seal closed. The rest is fairly straghtforward and simple. I made sure not to overpack any bags, although vacuum-sealing compresses the clothes down considerably, I didn't want to stress the plastic either. I've had my first order for a week now, and all the vacuum seals are holding strong!
FYI these ship out very promptly. Both times my order shipped the VERY day I placed the order on Amazon, and one of those days was on a Saturday!! They mail them out priority so you will receive them in within 3 days, for me it was the next day. So within 24 hours of ordering the product was at my home - AWESOME! Was a huge help when I placed the second order within days of needing them, I felt confident it would arrive in time to be put to use. Very pleased with both the product and the seller!

This is my first vacuum bag experience, and it has been great! No holes or leakage problems with the bags, and I was able to fit twice as much clothing into moving boxes. Packing clothes suddenly became the easiest part of moving... Strange, for me! Unfortunately I've moved to a place where I don't have easy access to a vacuum with hose attachment!
