All recipes are presented in a clear and easy-to-follow format.

Wholesome Gourmet uses only whole, natural, 'wholesome' ingredients which provide a wonderful sensation of flavour and appeal.

About the Author

Steven Winkler has been a registered Nutritional Consultant (R.N.C.) since 1994. Through his own adversity, he has become passionate in alternative (complimentary) healing arts and wholesome living. Along with his nutritional training, Steven is also a Certified Herbalist, and certified in Specialized and Nutritional Kinesiology, Touch for Health, and High Touch Acupressure. He has also designed, developed and conducted workshops on Energy Balancing and Meditation. Steven believes the only way to true health is with a balance of body, mind and spirit.

Working in a private practice, Steven has developed dietary programs and supplementation schedules for his clients. He helps to educate them about the consequences of specific food choices, and what the body needs nutritionally in order to do its own normalizing. He also assesses and tests for nutritional weaknesses and helps to support clients by providing them with advice on such topics as: food sensitivities, evaluation of nutritional deficiencies (or excesses), and the use of food supplements. Above all, he educates his clients to help themselves.

Living a spiritual and wholesome way of life, Steven has shared his passion for healthy foods and wholesome dining since the early 90's with his family, friends, and all who appreciate goodness and health. He prepares wholesome, nutritious and savory recipes and meals for people with special dietary needs and to those whom just want to eat healthier.

Steven currently makes his home in Waterloo, Ontario (Canada), where he continues to teach clients, create new recipes, conduct dinner parties and enjoy life.
