this product was great on the first two shipments and after that they were all solid jars of sugar.if you all would have listened to me when i told you that the honey you were sending me was old.i would still be ordering it.you all need to look at what you are sending your customers.i do love this honey but not when it is solid as a Rock!!!!!!!! I thought this would be a good honey. I use several other of their products and they are good. So I figured this would be good also. WRONG 1) If I had know it came in plastic I would have never ordered it anyway. 2) Like one other reviewer all my jars were already crystalized and I've spents hours trying to get them baCK TO NORMAL. I wouldn't recommend this unless you like to spend hours waiting on your honey to melt.

When I received this product, I was concerned since there was a bit of residue in the bottom of the jars (looks like tiny pieces of bees wax). I contacted the company and was told that this is normal due to the product not being heavily filtered.

Anyway, this is excellent honey. It has good flavor. I love that it is organic and fair trade - and still it is a good price!

Wholesome Sweeteners claims this honey has a caramel taste. For this reason, I decided to try it. I didn't like there almost solid raw honey in the least, but all honey tastes different, so why not give it another go? Well, I don't think it tastes like caramel at all. I'm not sure how I would describe it. It is a strong taste that I'm fully aware of in my insanely rich and blacker than coffee Pu-erh Tu Cha tea. I don't like the way it makes my tea taste. This is not a honey that I will purchase again. I also don't like that it is packaged in plastic.
I have to say that my favorite honey is still Premium Silky Organic Hawaii Kiawe Honey that you can order from localharvest it is very expensive but so good it's insane! My second favorite honey is a totally raw honey called Wee Bee. Unique flavor & it has bits of propolis & the comb in it. It is delicious to eat right off the spoon. Both honey's are from family farms & not a giant monster company.
I gave this honey 3 stars because it's fair trade, organic, and tastes okay.
