This review is from: Who's Who of Cats (Paperback)
This book -- purchased at Amazon.com -- is a collection of 496 true cat stories, written by their owners. Each anecdote takes just one short page, and is usually accompanied by a very small black and white (mostly gray-toned) photo of the cat. The stories are as varied as their writers/cats. They basically relate how their cat or cats were acquired (sometimes under the most bizarre, even horrendous conditions). They then go on to describe how it affected, influenced, or changed their lives, the lives of their families and other household pets. Their antics often strange and quirky. The stories cover a broad range of styles and moods, ranging from dramatic, strange, sad, humorous, surprising, and fulfilling. This feline compendium is a cat-lover's delight and great fun to read.Regina Clark |
