Safety Concerns for my Nonverbal Son,

I was searching everywhere for a safety tag that could not be wiped/pulled/ripped off. My son is a nonverbal 7-year-0ld diagnosed with autism & would have no way to give crucial ID information if he were to get lost (my biggest fear).
I absolutely LOVE this product. I attach it to his sneaker & it remains secure & noninvasive to my son. I have tried virtually everything, including expensive ID bracelets/necklaces, only to have him rip them off. I always buy extra to share them with other parents who have very young or special needs children. These come in both pink & blue & are worth every penny!!! I just wish these were sold in packs of 4 or 5, instead of just 2.

Bought this for my 3 yr old for a Disney trip. The straps are easy to put on the shoes and very difficult to remove (which is great, so the kids can't take them off). There is enough space to write relevant information (names, phones, etc.) and my kid liked feeling special with his shoe tags. Really good buy and would defiitely recommend.

Perfect for our Disney Trip,

These were perfect for our 3 and 5 year old boys to wear on their shoes during our recent Disney trip. We were worried about them playing with and/or taking off ID bracelets, so we chose these instead and they worked perfectly as a safety precaution.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!,

I ordered the royal blue ID band and the neon pink id band for my two Autistic children and the site says ships in 2-3 days. I called the number on the website after 10 days just to see where our order was and a woman by the name of Mary Lynn answered, after i told her the reason for my call she told me to "text" her my last name and that she would call me back when she was infront of her computer , so after finding this a bit odd I sent her all the order info from the order number to what we actually order our contact numbers and our last name as requsted- No return call came, so later that day I call Mary Lynn back to see how she made out with checking on our order, right to her voicemail I went, so I left her a message, then next day called to check in on our order with Mary Lynn AGAIN sent to voicemail AGAIN! still no call back, This company had NO problem charging my credit card as soon as i placed my order but they never shipped my items to me!! then when I called to ask about them I got dodged!! After dealing with this I called my credit card company. I shop all of the time on line and have NEVER dealt with a company like this before. And I needed these for my children who have Autism and are non-verbal, the idea of these tags are great I am so angry by the horrible dealings that now i am off to find a better company to buy from. Thank you very much Mary Lynn!

Just a Really Good Idea,

I've been asked about these at least four times since we bought them. Twice, moms recognized them as ID tags right away and wondered where I got them; one mom had actually lost her young daughter (briefly) at an amusement park once, and said she'd have freaked out a little less if she'd known her daughter had some ID on her.We bought these in addition to the bracelet because we weren't sure our kiddo would like wearing a bracelet and might just rip it off; turns out he loves the bracelet, so he was all tagged up. Because these ID tags velcro right over shoelaces and sandal straps, though, we also found they velcro right over other things. We fastened one through the pants of the Mickey Mouse plushie we bought as a souvenir in case he "fell" out of the stroller. You could use one to ID the stroller itself! This set of two also comes with an ID kit with a short questionnaire about your child, plus space for recent photos, in case your child does go missing. It's a feature I found a little creepy, but also very useful. Better to be prepared for the worst, while hoping for the best.

So I actually bought these to use on my dad, who's 76yrs old and has dementia. His mind just isn't that good these days and he'll get lost as easily as a little kid. In his head though, he's still an adult who feels like he should be able to go wherever/whenever he wants to. Its a bit problematic and I worry about losing track of him whenever we take him anywhere in public. We usually make him wear a necklace with our address and phone number on it but being of an adult mind he tends to think himself above it all and will take it off and lose it quickly. I wanted something that he wouldn't notice and take off quite so easily since we were going to be on vacation far from home where this would be more important.
I put these on his shoes in the morning, before he was up for the day, so he didn't see them go on. It was a couple of days of vacation before he even commented on them. He asked me what these things on his shoes were, to which I replied that they were just shoemaker's logo. (I know, I hate lying!) He proceeded to tug on them pretty hard and since they stayed in place, he dropped the subject and left them alone after that. We've been home for weeks now and they're still on there! I gotta wonder, if they're "Grandpa-proof" then they must be pretty kid-proof too!

I wanted something that would be a tag to help identify my son if he wandered off. Being three, he doesn't know our phone numbers yet, and so this was perfect. We used the tag along with a "crowd-control wristband" that had our number on it. The tag is hard to remove, but that wasn't an issue since my kid loved wearing the tag.

These little ID tags are just what I wanted for our vacation. The velcro is very sturdy, they are easy to write on, and they have space for 3 emergency phone numbers plus the physician's number. Great value.

My son loves to run in the stores and used to like to play hide and seek. This product gives me a bit of peace of mind. He is a bit older now and with the kind of shoes he is wearing is not as easy to put it on.

SO worth the $$, my son actualy lost his shoe when getting in the van after a day at disneyland, the next day someone found it and called us off of the tag LOL. We still have one tag and he wears it on his velcro tab shoe everyday. Awesome idea!
