This review is from: Who's That Girl? (Paperback)
I'm crazy about her books.
Honestly I thought it was just a stupid novel. And bought it just to improve my english. How wrong I was. It's an amazing talented book that exactly suits me. Do you know the feeling when you just see something, and understand that it totally yours? I just fell in love with the book and the language Alexandra uses. Kevin Roberts, CEO Worldwide of Saatchi & Saatchi, advertising agency, is the author of theory of Lovemarks - the brands we fall in love with. Lovemark is based on three main things: sensuality (5 senses), intimacy and mystery. All 5 senses are here: you see, you hear, you feel, you smell and you even taste what's happening. Intimacy is everywhere. I would rather say secrecy. It's so sincere that you totally understand you could have told all your secrets the main heroes. And they won't judge you but will give a good advice. It's so precious today. And no book without mystery. And that's really makes it so special and unique. They have it. Alexandra Potter's books are my Lovemarks. She always writes about love, about dreams that we can make true and that we should never give up. And never do what we are not passionate about. Never do what you don't love to. It's so easy but that's exactly what people forget every day. Though it's so easy to read and not so philosophical, it makes us think. I can't stop even at work. It's amazing amazing amazing how exactly she notices the slightest details about daily life! Actually there no words to describe everything I feel reading and I just wanted to say Alexandra thank you! There are so many things I meet when I think "YES! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT!" or "Oh my God, I had that feeling but never knew it's possible to describe it's so brilliantly!" Now the book is lying just under my keyboard cause I don't like to read electronic versions:)) Gods, it's incredible and I feel a bit sad with every read page cause it's close to the end. Thank you, Alexandra! You make my day and you make my life and I'm happy to read your books. Waiting impatiently for a new one coming in August! |
