I'm kind of surprised there isn't more of a cult around Annie Lennox, given her amazing vocal talent, timbre and range. Perhaps it's the limitations of the synthpop genre that she's in. She has one of the all-time great voices in pop music. She should've been waaaaay bigger than Madonna ever was. She had just as much style and visual appeal for the video audience as well (that crap mattered in the MTV 80s). Sure, she's quite famous, but nowhere near as famous as she should be. I guess she was too dignified for the media-whoring that Madonna and Courtney Love pursued. There's no accounting for taste...

This is simply, a great song. I love the synths that are used on this track, and it really takes me back to the 80s.
