"This ebooks  is very unique and different with great writing and great Illustrations. I enjoyed this ebook very much and highly recommend it"

"my 4yr old daughter and I love reading this book! it's written fr the perspective of a monster who sees humans as the scary. it brought us laughter and made the monsters seem more like us, so when my daughter thinks about monsters now, she empathizes with them instead of being afraid"

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT A FLIP FLOP!! June 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I must confess, I didn't pay much attention to the cover of the book. After all, I'm only picking up children's books for the days when my 6 year old neighbor visits. But when I read the first page I laughed out loud and thought 'How perfect'; I don't recall another author tackling the under-the-bed issue quite like this.
The mother consoled her child when he, uh, it worried. She reminded her little one not to judge people by the way they looked, though she used different words. All mothers need to teach this lesson, whether they be monster moms or human moms. This book gave us another way to teach it.
The illustrations are top-notch: great drawings as well as bright colors.
This is the most light hearted children's book I've seen in a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable June 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
My granddaughter is very hard to please while reading to her but she really enjoyed this story. She found it very entertaining and it kept her attention through the whole book. The thing I found adorable was how it was written from a monsters perspective. I recommend this book to read to your child or if they are old enough to have them read it on their own.

I love this story and how they've flipped it to tell it from the monster's point-of-view. My daughter is only 3 months only, so I can't comment on her preference yet, but I love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun book April 17, 2013
By Jules
Format:Kindle Edition
From an adult's point of view this is a fun book.
The illustrations and writing style I think will appeal to young children.
It also addresses a real struggle that children have by reversing the roles.

5.0 out of 5 stars There was once a weak little monster and the little monster was scared...
I chose this review because of the inspiration of the story but I don't like how you made it a monster scared of a child it should have been the child scared of the monster.
