The 1980's. When the Music Video ruled the Airwaves. Aretha Franklin, who was affectionately called the Queen of soul, was still in her musical prime, produced this fantastic album. 'Freeway of Love' was a big hit, and the duet with the Eurythmics 'Sisters Are Doin It For Themselves' was featured in the movie The First Wives Club'. A must have CD for any fan of of the First lady of Soul. The Video for "Freeway Of Love" is still available on YouTube and iTunes.

Any Aretha Franklin album is worth a listen but some are better than others. Who's Zoomin Who brought her genius into the 80's. Even after the devasting loss of her father. But the album is full of classic Aretha from the swinging Freeway of Love to her dramatic reading of Van McCoy's Sweet Bitter Love. A song recorded by many great singers. But only Aretha could breathe new life to the song. Her duets with Eurythmics and Peter Wolf certify her abilities. Through her long career Aretha has made a handful of classics like I Never Loved A Man, Lady Soul, Amazing Grace and now, Who's Zooming Who.
