5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books written on Biblical Creation
I read this book when it first became available and found it to be absolutely one of the best books written on Biblical Creation. It destroys evolution by solid, concrete evidence that cannot be answered with anything from evolutionists other than more of there theory and none of the facts. How can an evolutionist explain away human footprints inside dinosaur foot prints...

1.0 out of 5 stars Christians must have more integrity than this
As a Christian this type of book is both appalling and frightening. "Appalling" because of its ridiculuous misuse and misunderstanding of science as well as being written by a self-proclaimed scientists who awarded himself two graduate degree from a university that exists only on the internet, is not acredited, and where he was serving as president. "Frightening"...

This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
I read this book when it first became available and found it to be absolutely one of the best books written on Biblical Creation. It destroys evolution by solid, concrete evidence that cannot be answered with anything from evolutionists other than more of there theory and none of the facts. How can an evolutionist explain away human footprints inside dinosaur foot prints that have been independently tested and verified as real? This is a must read for anybody who is looking for truth!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Book, November 5, 2007
This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
I read this book when it first came out also and was amazed at all that was in it. It even comes with many photos so people can see the evidence for biblical creation. I can understand the anger an evolutionist would have with this book. They really have no place to go after reading it but to attack it. The petrified foot inside a petrified cowboy boot with the date of the boot is incredible evidence that scientists just don't have an answer for. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I admire Dr. Baughs courage for presenting the evidence and standing with the Bible. I just purchased 5 more of these books directly from his Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, TX to give away. Dr. Baugh even signed them for me. To take the time to do that as busy as he is says a lot about the mans character.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very well documented book!, October 2, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
The other comments from evolutionists about this book attack just the author instead of comming with convinsing arguments against the facts presented in the book. They do this for the simple reason that the author attacks the religion of evolution were a person's faith has to be greater that in any other religion.

"Frightening" because of how gullible Christians can be when they want to believe something. Even if you want to hold on to a literal, six-day creationism, you should still distance yourself from this man and his utterly disproven claims, just as Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis has ahd to do.

Christians, listen to me. This is one of the key reason non-Christians consider us a joke. We turn our brains off when we read or listen to someone we think we should agree with. It's intellectually dishonest, and you are being taken for a ride. This guy is an exposed fraud, and everyone knows it except those that think he must be right in order for the Bible to be true. You can't stand for the truth by reproducing lies and supporting liars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Against All Odds, November 17, 2007
This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
Dr. Carl Baugh demonstrates how unscientific Darwwins Theory of Evolution is through various scientific studies. He also shows how "Religious" its adherents are by numerous examples (many of well known academic/ teachers).

Although I could cite many examples here, I believe it would be best for the a person that has any inkling of just how really silly both Darwin and the Evolution Theory are, to read the book (Its inexpensive had contains much information and wisdom) and realize that academics that spout this theory deny all scientific methodology. Evolution is a belief system that "Sounds Scientific" but is based on principals that are unprovable (and in most cases wrong) and require a giant leap of faith. In short, Evolution is a "Religion" for Humanists.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware, March 11, 2004

This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
In my opinion, this book can be detrimental to a person searching for the "truth," especially those who do not have a strong scientific background. Carl Baugh's book is riddled with what seems like tons of "scientific proof" however, most of the quotes are taken out of context to suit his purposes. He also greatly exaggerates the ideals of evolution. For example, he attempts to explain evolutionary thought by comparing it with the morphing of a child's tricycle into a living, breathing, tiger. I am sure there is someone...somewhere who believes this is possible (there is always one nutjob out there), however, this is not...I repeat NOT the thinking of evolutionists. I attended a lecture given by him and bought the book before the lecture. I am always open to new ideas provided they can be substantiated in some way. Please buy with caution and if you are searching for something to believe, I would suggest you buy another book as well that is more firmly rooted in evolutionary theory so that you can make up your own mind.

1.0 out of 5 stars Science?, December 7, 2003
This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
Using the same well refuted arguments (the supposedly "human" footsteps inside a dinosaur's print) and circuitous logic (because it seems complex to me therefore there must be a designer) as any other 100 religious creationists before him, the author treads no new ground. As additional food for thought, the author's two graduate degrees come from the same internet diploma mill, "Pacific International University". This supposed "institution" (actually located in Springfield, Missouri) lists its mission statement #4 as, "There is a total commitment by the Faculty to the inerrant Word of God and the Lordship of Christ." This conflicts with the possibility of objective analysis.

This book is like similar ones written that should be confined to the garbage. It is sheer nonsense, and like the author leads one into nothingness. His words are meaningless, and harps on others, throwing names around like thistle seeds in the wind!

1.0 out of 5 stars Dr. Baugh's Agenda, June 12, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Why Do Men Believe Evolution Against All Odds? (Hardcover)
Dont be fooled people. Dr. Baugh is not a scientist, and he is out to prove his narrow fundamentalist point of view. He has no regard for the scientific method, and convienently substitutes biblical teachings for scientific data.
Rational clear-thinking people cannot let people like this have influence in our educational system.
Additionally we cannot let narrow minded fundamentalists hi jack Christianity with their own bizarre beliefs. Not all Christians believe this creation science nonsense.
