Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

Kroen, an avid tournament golfer, offers practical tips about traditions, techniques, etiquette, and rules of the game. His chock-full-of-facts presentation is sprinkled with nearly 200 amusing questions and answers (e.g., "why is the stretch between the eleventh and thirteenth holes of Augusta National called the Amen Corner?" or, "why do so many pros wear a hat with the name Amana printed on it?"). This informative book tests readers' knowledge, memory, and common sense in six categories: the game, equipment, swing technique, professional players, courses, and rules. For cerebral connoisseurs of golf, this is a sheer delight to read. Recommended for public libraries.

This review is from: The Why Book of Golf (Paperback)
This book is great. I read this book and it shaved three strokes off my already average of 42 and im only sixteen. If this book can do that for me Imagine you could be playing a lot better. Anyway this is a great book it tells you what everything means and what golf is all about. So if you are a true athlete you should read this book.
