Book Description

October 1997
Re-Engineering; Total Quality Management; Delayering; Value-based Disciplines; Benchmarking; Transformation. Companies have embraced dozens of new change initatives in recent years. Yet, despite well-intentioned efforts, the bottm line is depressingly the same: Change is not working, or is not working well. Workers, managers, team leaders and CEO's alike are wondering, what went wrong? In this timely book, award-winning business writers revael the missteps miscalculations and lessons learnt by companies on the road to change, focusing on the most neglected aspect of the whole process: the human factor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful to consultants as a "soft" tool, October 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Why Change Doesn't Work: Why Initiatives Go Wrong and How to Try Again-And Succeed (Paperback)
This is a useful and very entertaining take on the change process. The methods the authors promote are probably too "soft" to stand alone in a change effort, but they are make a great addition any consultant's tool kit.
