2.0 out of 5 stars It's okay November 12, 2010

This is an alright item. The cry analyzer is something neat. You have to get it real close to the baby and it takes a while for it to respond, and while pretty accurate, I can't stand to let the baby sit there and cry without trying to console her in the meantime. I liked the feature with room temperature and humidity, I would have kept it around just for that, but the battery only lasts a day or two when left on all the time.

I consider this pretty much a neat toy, but overall it was a waste.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Little Gadget. Great for New Parents February 22, 2011
By Brian
Although you can usually know why your baby cries; this is kinda fun to use and astoundingly it is pretty acurate.

Pros
- Gives a good direction on why your baby is crying; with suggestions on how to respond to your baby's cry.
- Temp and Humidity display is a nice added feature to have.

Cons
- Takes a little too long to analyze your baby's cry. If they could improve the monitors response time, the product would be top.
- Needs to be pretty close to your baby, but the range is acceptable.
- A little overpriced. Do your shopping and find the cheaper ones. Have found them for as little as $20, however average is around $30.

Overall this is a great little tool to help new parents learn their baby's needs.
