5.0 out of 5 stars Best marriage saver I've ever read!, January 7, 2012

This review is from: Why Did I Say I Do? (Paperback)
I don't know how many copies of this book I have given away. Not being personally well-equipped or inclined to hang in during tough times, this book greatly assisted me in staying in a challenging marriage and finally breaking through to better times (28 years now). Several of my friends chided me for not baling out years ago and they have since married and divorced again. With the help of the wisdom of this book, I hung in and grew up and now have a much stronger marriage for having persevered. This book drops a nice, straight plumb line through selfish motives and muddled, emotional thinking and equips one to make choices that lead to integrity, regardless aa to whether the other person can or will make those changes. And when one person does change for the better, the dynamic shifts and leaves a welcoming open door for the other person to come out of their pain. Thank you, Mr. Schwambach!
