Ray Pritchard is Senior Pastor of Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, Illinois. He has been a professor and guest lecturer at many schools and is a frequent guest on nationally broadcast radio programs. He has ministered extensively overseas, preaching in India, Nepal, Paraguay, Colombia, Haiti, Nigeria, Switzerland, Russia, and Belize. He has written more than twenty books.

My husband of 32 years recently decided he was not happy, and left me to be with one of my friends who was a widow. I was and am devastated, and I have read many books on suffering and pain. This was one of the MOST beneficial. I purchased ten copies to give to people who are in pain. Ray Pritchard uses insight and wisdom from God Himself to help others. I am thankful for his journey because through his own pain, he was able to impart comfort for me. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is suffering.
