Believe this or not, I bought this book for my elderly mother, who complained about every move my dog made. I don't think it made her into a dog lover, but at least it got her to realize that you can't put human thoughts and emotions onto a dog. It would be excellent to give to kids so that they would have a better understanding of the animals that share their lives.
