The authors, fervent advocates of individual freedom, point out that many current laws are oppressive. James Ronald Kennedy is director of risk management for a Louisiana insurance company. He was elected as commander for the Louisiana division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans for the years 1989-92 and regularly participates in Civil War re-enactments.
