I've heard some of Eric's music before on his web site, and ordered this CD so I could hear more. I've been listening to the CD all day, and am amazed at the variety of topics and the emotions that are expressed in the songs.
Why Not Today's message is uplifting and it resonates with me; I can be a procrastinator!
The Last Real Cowboy touches my heart as I think of my deceased parents and the grandparents I never knew. Their traits live on in me and knowing of their good deeds inspires me.
Everyone Wants to be Loved; It's a Good Thing; It's a Woman's World -- all are right on target.
I'm happy to find a CD that I can play even when my grandchildren are in the car! No smut or suggestive lyrics in this one. This music appeals to everyone in my family. Wholesome, but not boring!!! Can't wait for more.

This guy can sing! It is so refreshing to hear such a talented artist singing these awesome and uplifting songs. I can't stop singing the motivating title track, "Why Not Today." My other favorite is "Last Real Cowboy". This is what country music is all about! This album is going to be big.

My cd just arrived today. I listened to it and love it. I cried when I heard What Turns You On. This music was written by someone that knows people especially women. First, his voice reminds me of Allen Jackson and that's good. It's the content of the lyrics that has me so excited. Of course without the great voice and music I might not have listened long enough to hear the words.
I am not a big Country fan, but this is that good. I will definately wear this one out!

My friend had this title song in her IPOD and She passed it over to me while we were working out AMAZING I just got the CD and am Loving every minute of it, its an awesome awesome CD! I love it and no worries about questionable subject matter either a really great family cd! This guy is bound for stardom!

Even though I previewed 'Why Not Today', I was unprepared for how
totally *awesome* it is!

I laughed, I cried, I tapped my toes and I even sang along. Every
single song touched me in some way: pride in my country, fond memories
of my paternal grandfather, hope for today, joy in being a woman in a
woman's world...I could go on and on.

But my favorite will always be 'Too Much to Believe' because it speaks
to me deep in my heart, where my son will be forever 20 years old.

Thank you, Eric, for a wonderfully heart-touching, life-affirming
CD...and the next time you're in St. Louis, MO please sing 'Too Much
to Believe' for Jeremy and his mom.

I preordered the CD based on Eric's last CD. I have played it many times since receiving it. I think that my favorite song is "Why not today" but "The Last Real Cowboy" is a close second. This is music the entire family can enjoy.

If you want something inspirational, country, romantic, and uplifting this is it. I am a newer fan of Eric's music. He is a true country boy at heart. If you want a glimpse of his life something so real that it touches your heart and soul, this is it. I have had the CD for a week. From a concert release party. I keep thinking I will get tired of it but then another song gets to me.

Today is my sisters birthday. She would have been 37. I lost her to a massive drug overdose 1 year and 11 months ago. Today what is saving me is Eric's song "To much to believe" At the concert he dedicated his aunt and grandma who have recently passed away. I was so close that I got to look into his eyes and see the emotion of this song. It was touching.

This album is life at it's best. Please listen!!!!! This guy will go far.

I just got Eric's CD at his concert in Highland and have listened to it several times already. It is awesome! All of my kids love it, too! Great lyrics, great beat, and what a voice! Thanks Eric!

This CD touched my heart like no other! I laughed and I cried right along with Eric. I felt like Eric was exposing his true self to us thru his music. I loved "Why not today?" because it can pertain to so many aspects of our lives. "Too much to believe" made me feel like I'm not crazy when I feel the spirits of my dear sister, brother and mother, all of whom I lost in the space of one year. I often feel them near me and it's nice to know other people feel that people they've lost are not totally gone from our lives. "It's a woman's world" made me laugh and sing right along with it. And,since I'm naturally an emotional person, "I pledge" made me cry with love and appreciation for my country and for all who serve it. I have played this CD over so many times, I'm afraid I'm going to wear it out!

This CD is so great, and Eric Dodge has such a smooth, country voice. He is just fantastic. While listening to this CD I laughed, I cried... it's just amazing. "I Pledge" will want to make you stand proudly with your hand over your heart. "The Last Real Cowboy" will bring tears to your eyes, and "It's a Woman's World" will bring a smile to your lips. :-) The entire CD is filled with songs full of emotions, and you can certainly hear those emotions in the way Eric sings them. He "feels" every one them. This is a CD the whole family can enjoy. :-)
