Absolute Amazing,
By Vikas Vikas "Vik" (Mountain View, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Why Walk When You Can Fly: Soar Beyond Your Fears and Love Yourself and Others Unconditionally (Paperback)
This small book hold the key to unconditional love and wisdom. This is an absolutely amazing book and anybody interested in inner growth must read it. It's a life changing book. Isha system described in this book is very simple to follow yet extremely powerful.
I've been reading Eckhart Tolle and Osho for quite some time, but its not easy to be in Here and Now. How to be in Here n Now? How to go away with self judgments? How can we be at ease with ourselves if we dont love ourselves. This book holds the key - Isha system. While practicing the Isha system awareness expands and being in here and now comes naturally. Only in couple of days I am able to see changes in my self. Sitting with myself was not very easy, now an hour just fly past. I can sense that experience of peace and joy spreading in my everyday life. I highly recommend it. Read it! Who knows it can be the turning point in your life :-) With Love & Light, -Vikas

Focus in the Heart,
By
This review is from: Why Walk When You Can Fly: Soar Beyond Your Fears and Love Yourself and Others Unconditionally (Paperback)
I had never heard of Isha when I received this book. However, I had heard of the authors endorsing her book - in particular Shakti Gawain and James Twyman. And I loved the title of the book, so was very excited to start reading it!
And I was pleased right from the start. Her whole system is based simply on unconditional love, and for this she gives you what she calls "facets" (which are basically affirmations) to repeat silently while focusing energy in different parts of the body. Now I have to admit, I'm not the first to jump for joy when I see another meditation - nor do I care to hear I need to do it for an hour a day to get results. Though this is her suggestion, she also recommends breaking it up into three 20 minute meditations, and then repeating the facets throughout the day. So, I never quite got myself to the full hour, yet I can say wholeheartedly that with that being the case, I still have noticed a change within myself just by spending a few moments in the morning with the facets, and repeating them throughout the day. This book is so lovely and sweet because it really comes from the heart, and speaks to the heart. Isha talks about the importance of healing separation, and the benefits of removing our masks and living authentically. I am SO very glad I read this book. I continue to repeat the facets, and know that I'll continue to grow. This book was very easy to read, easy to understand, and it was quick and to the point. Isha's writing style was charming and sweet, and the book delivers what it says - you just have to do the facets. I know, I know, sometimes we want to be lazy and grow spiritually and emotionally by just reading a book, but this type of growth does take action. The facets are simple, they just take some dedication. And any path worth traveling takes dedication.

The Isha System is a simple, yet profound path of unconditional love,
This review is from: Why Walk When You Can Fly: Soar Beyond Your Fears and Love Yourself and Others Unconditionally (Paperback)
The book, "Why Walk when you can fly" by Isha contains some very profound wisdom. The book contains the best explanation of Enlightenment I've ever read! Although the book may be slender, don't be fooled by the slimness. It is packed with incredibly powerful statements that will really get you moving in the direction of greater understanding, compassion and connection to yourself and others.
If you are open to a path of expanding your consciousness this book will certainly give you the tools to begin. If you've been struggling along your path this book may be of great value to you. Much success to you along your path of discovery, Barbara Bourgette

Allow unconditional love,
By
This review is from: Why Walk When You Can Fly: Soar Beyond Your Fears and Love Yourself and Others Unconditionally (Paperback)
There are many books on the market that will assist in transforming our experience with life. This book is not another intellectual book telling us we are worthy to be loved, and if we just do XYZ our life will transform. Yes, there are four facets, four simple steps, but they are not as much about doing as allowing Love to transform us from the inside out.
Since practicing the facets in this book, my relationships have shifted dramatically. It's not about standing up for myself. It is about being myself. Love transforms our image of ourselves and others. I highly recommend this book to anyone who would like to see and experience life from unconditional love.

Wow! Isha's writing is crystal clear. Her message is honest, soothing and almost musical. Her message speaks to everyone, even those deemed 'unsavable' .. those in prison, those who have suffered debiliting accidents and diseases. She speaks straight to your heart. I couldn't stop reading. Thankfully it is a short book. You must read this! Isha is the real McCoy.

Awesome book! She gets right to the point and gives the 4 facets, which are so powerful and easy to use. Great testimonials included. She spoke right to my heart and it made me want to jump right on a plane and go to Mexico or Uraguay to one of her workshops. This is a book that can change your life.

Loving Acceptance,

This review is from: Why Walk When You Can Fly: Soar Beyond Your Fears and Love Yourself and Others Unconditionally (Paperback)
Why Walk When You Can Fly is both practical and profound. The author, Isha, is an internationally known spiritual teacher whose primary focus is to teach us about our love consciousness. She has developed a simple "system" for inner transformation, based on four powerful statements of profound truth. Using them consistently produces a shift in consciousness that allows us greater happiness, fulfillment, and peace: what the author calls "a recipe for absolute freedom."
Isha comments: "My entire focus is on elevating the consciousness of humanity. I believe that when each individual finds unconditional love of self within the profound experience of what I call "love-consciousness" - the place of inner fullness and freedom that exists within all of us - the hostility and conflicts of the world will start to fall away by themselves. When we realize that our true essence is unconditional love - that we are all love and that in reality there is no separation between us - love will expand to a pint where our apparent differences will no longer hold such precedence over how we interact with each other. We will embrace each other's differences as unique expressions of beauty." Reading this book is like being held in a maternal bosom of loving acceptance; the author clearly has had an "awakening" that many of us understand conceptually, but have yet to fully experience. The Isha system will deliver us into the experience, we are told--and I believe it.

This book has completely changed my life. There so many self help books and so many books on spirituality, etc. out there, and this one is the most simple I have ever found. It's so easy to incorporate the four facets into my life, and just remembering her simple words can shift everything for me within seconds. I recommend this book to everyone I know, and now my friend who is a therapist recommends it to all of her clients as well. I don't think you have to be spiritual or anything like that to get a lot out of this book, it's so simple and straightforward that anyone would benefit from it. Short and sweet, this is truly a little piece of gold.

If you want to try a system that works, is simple, and has profound effects, this is the book (and DVD) for you! The Isha system works! I have found inner growth beyond all expectations which in turn has led to phenomenal things occuring in my life that otherwisem, I know, would not have happened. The DVD is wonderful to watch, the book is great to read. I did both and have referred them to many friends who have also tried the system and have noticed significant changes in their lives. The world is changing and we all need to change with it. The Isha system is remarkable in its ability to get you where you want to be easily, practically and very quickly. She was a guest on my show January 6, 2010 at [...] and she is a delight to talk to.
