not bad at all for the price,
This review is from: WiLife Outdoor Camera Master System DVS-800e (Personal Computers)
this is actually a little more quality than expected for the price. I bought the outdoor camera starter kit which works very well in low light conditions, the outdoor camera is actually smaller than it looks in the picture, the power line technology is the main appeal for this system as well as the color viewing. the only downside so far for me is that there is no zoom capabilities on a basic package (no monthly fee). other than that it does what it says and doesn't slow your computer at all. great camera system. i will be adding at least two more cameras to this system very soon.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: WiLife Outdoor Camera Master System DVS-800e (Personal Computers)
I've got it setup on a Windows 2008 Standard server, working great. Had to pay for the "platinum" membership to get the functionality I wanted, which irks me, but otherwise it's worked flawlessly.

WiLife Master System,

This review is from: WiLife Outdoor Camera Master System DVS-800e (Personal Computers)
The WiLife System is no better or worse than anything out there. I have done more than my share of camera work and there is no magic to this one.
The Pros.- Good picture quality. Online support works well. The Cons.- The electric outlet that you choose to power the camera must be on the same circuit as the computer and USB receiver module. This will only be a problem is you try to put the outdoor camera outdoors as many homes do not have the outdoor electrical circuits tied to anything else in the house. General wiring proctice and codes make outdoor power isolated and GFI protected. So what you have to do is go trial and error through the electric outlets in your house to see which ones play well together. In my house there are 62 outlets. WiLife only works on 6 of them, none outside the house unless I put a computer in the garage with the USB module. The system will not even find a camera plugged in two rooms away on the same floor indoors.
