Fantastic.,
By The Only One (Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Caddos, the Wichitas, and the United States, 1846-1901 (Centennial Series of the Association of Former Students, Texas A&M University) (Hardcover)
This book was required for my History class, and the author was my Professor. I can tell you from personal experiance that Dr. Smith knows this subject inside and out. He gave 2-hours long lectures twice a week with no notes, only maps for us to look at. Not only that, he told and wrote the information in a way that is easy to read an understand. This was one of the most interesting books on the Caddos I have read, and I deffinately recommend it to anyone who is interested in Texas/Oklahoma history, American history, the Caddos, or Native Americans in general.
Agreat read!! |
