Left me bored, November 11, 2010
This review is from: Wicked Beauty (Paperback)
I borrowed this book from the library. I could never figure out who the title was actually about. After reading about two-thirds of the book, I returned it.

A book filled with revolting characters, January 13, 2012
This review is from: Wicked Beauty (Paperback)
I was very disappointed in this book, because I usually enjoy Susan Lewis' novels. However, this novel is about very nasty, deceitful, dangerous people. I assume the title is about the actress Stacey Greene - a revolting character, quite frankly.
The heroine Rachel, her sister Anna and next door neighbour, Beanie are the only saving graces, although Anna was very weak.
I forced myself to finish it, having skimped quite a number of pages looking for some redeeming feature in the characters. The plot was evil - arms, drug dealing dealing and money laundering - and I couldn't find anything sympathetic of any but the three characters I mentioned, even though the sister made me want to slap her for not booting her revolting husband out.
739 pages of shallow people with disgusting habits.
