5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta LOVE JA!!!
If you like "She's Country", you'll love the rockin sounds of "Crazy Town". All others are slower and more sappy songs. "Wide Open" and "This I Gotta See" are a little faster. Overall if you're good with a slower, love/loss album, it's great; just don't expect an entire album of rockin like "She's Country".

3.0 out of 5 stars Third time not a charm
I'm a fan of Jason Aldean and have his first two CD's, but this sounds like he called it in.

4.0 out of 5 stars GOOD~~BUT NOT WIDE OPEN, April 21, 2009
This review is from: Wide Open (MP3 Download)
I expected with a title such as "Wide Open" Jason Aldean would have stepped a little further out of his safety zone and ventured into some new musical territory, but that is not the case with his third album release. This is not to say "Wide Open" is a bad album, in fact, I find it better than his debut but not quite as good as his sophmore "Relentless" album, but there is just not enough material to separate Jason from the rest of the Nashville cowboy hatters that could have sang these same songs. However, a major plus for Jason, is that you can tell that after three albums and a heavy touring schedule, Jason bolsters much more depth, emotion, and confidence in his singing, which still puts him way ahead of the other male country singers on the radio. With a great and unique voice, awesome stage presence, and a pure talent to tell a song as well as sing it, I hope that next time, Jason truely is "Wide Open."

5.0 out of 5 stars He does it again, April 11, 2009
This review is from: Wide Open (Audio CD)
If you love his self titled and Relentless albums, you will love this one. I'm so glad that decided not to change the formula that made him a big star. This is a CD that hasn't left my player since I got my hands on it and won't be for a long time. My favorite song on the CD has been Crazy Town so far. However over time I know that will change depending on what's going on in my life. If you want a great CD to sit back and listen to, this is one you should get.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jason Aldean's Best Yet, July 14, 2009
This review is from: Wide Open (MP3 Download)
This is a great album......probably the last before he becomes as famous as Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you dont like this album...., January 15, 2010
This review is from: Wide Open (MP3 Download)
then you really shouldn't be listening to country. I understand not everyone is going to like the same things but this album is for any country fan.
Wide Open,Crazy town, She's country is for the rocking country, while also giving you the slow country like On my highway(one of the best songs) and the Truth. Aldean's voice just stands out and is really great to listen to. While his other two albums are just as good and should really be listened to, if you haven't already, this album is my favorite from track 1 to 11. There is a reason this guys selling out every show, pick up this album and his other two and you will hear why.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome CD.. I love every track!, January 9, 2010
This review is from: Wide Open (Audio CD)
I was pleasantly surprised with this CD. I bought it for "The Truth" and " Big Green Tractor". I am really glad I bought this because the other tracks are just as good or better. "This I gotta See" is definitely one of my favorite songs now. With a CD release like this one, Jason Aldean is well on his way to joining the ranks of Keith Urban and Brad Paisley

5.0 out of 5 stars just as expected...another quality album, April 9, 2009

if you liked jason's previous two albums, this one won't disappoint! I've listened to it over and over and there isn't really a bad track on there. My favorite song right off is "Big Green Tractor" in which he talks to a lady friend and asks what she wants to do (not in those words), but suggests going to a show or...taking her for a ride on his big green tractor. I'm not the best at analyzing songs, but they are certainly all well-written and sure to please. This is typical Jason Aldean stuff with songs about life and love as well as good ole party songs!, in short: buy it!! you won't be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not a Song I Don't Like, November 8, 2011
This review is from: Wide Open (Audio CD)
I can stick this CD in my car's CD player and just let it play all the way through. Some songs I like more than others, but I don't really dislike any song on the CD. It is one my favorite country CDs of the CDs that I own, and I highly recommend it.

Jason Aldean is on a roll! This CD is so awesome that even my husband, who is a non-country fan, wants to borrow it. I even got him to go to a Jason Aldean concert with me. Love it!
