It can be hard to start over but it's not impossible. While building houses with my father he would say to me "A carpenter is no better that his tools." Now, many years later, after having lost a wife I can throughly agree. I bought this book for a friend who recently lost his wife. She was only 45 years old.
I first read the book myself to make sure that it was something I believed would help him.
Not only do I think the book will help my friend deal with his difficult situation, I think this book can help married couples too. It really puts things in perspective. Day to day problems pale in comparison to the difficulty of losing your wife.
The Widower's Toolbox has a straight forward presentation that men will understand and be able to use. The Author lost his wife and knows what it is like to deal with such a loss. I am sure that insight is critical to helping other men rebuild their lives after losing their wife.
