4.0 out of 5 stars Great Album, but Get the Video Too!
At first, I thought this cd was the Wiggles' first "stinkaroo" effort. The songs are a little more rock-and-rollish compared to their other cds. However, when I saw the video, it definitely made sense! It's really cute when you see the action that goes with the songs. This seems to be a departure from their previous studio albums so don't expect tunes like, "Dorothy...

1.0 out of 5 stars Wiggle Bay: Very Gay
This is the worst wiggles album ever made. Going way over the edge on the experimental level, the wiggles try to hard to make new characters out of the same characters. Do not buy for your kids; instead get "Yummy, Yummy" or "Shout At the Devil" by Motley Crue.

However, when I saw the video, it definitely made sense! It's really cute when you see the action that goes with the songs. This seems to be a departure from their previous studio albums so don't expect tunes like, "Dorothy the Dinosaur," and "Wake Up Jeff." It's more like a mini-movie with this being the soundtrack. My son likes it, however, and I really like it now too.

What a fantastic CD! If you are a pop music fan you would have to love this album-- You don't have to have the DVD to appreciate this album. The songs are more of a rocking late 60s and early 70s sound, "Zing Zang Zong" being one of the highlights.

Like all the songs on this CD, "Let's Make Some Rosey Tea" sounds even better on CD than on the DVD. It also features some songs from "Space Dancing," which are equally awesome-- "What's This Button For?" and the cover of "Eagle Rock".

I love how the Wiggles explore pop music and don't stick with the traditional folk songs, I think "Wiggle Bay" and other late Wiggles albums are a great introduction for kids to pop music.

My son loves this CD. We love the beach & these are great songs to sing while singing or going to the beach. We love the upbeat songs that make you want to dance.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of their best CDs!, January 14, 2004
This review is from: Wiggle Bay (Audio CD)
I read the other reviews which prompted me to say this CD is NOT boring! How can anyone say Zing Zang Zong is boring?? My daughter is 7 and is a huge Wiggles fan, well, I am too and I'm in my 30's. The musical style of this album is similar to something from the 60's beach set and the songs are very catchy. I find myself humming them during the day while I teach. If your kids watch the newer Playhouse Disney series, Network Wiggles, they'll be familiar with the songs and dances and will appreciate this CD. Enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good CD, October 10, 2005
This review is from: Wiggle Bay (Audio CD)
My daughter is a huge Wiggles fan and enjoys this CD. It is different from their other songs I have heard, just like some other reviews stated. I think you either like it or hate it...we like it. My daughter is 23 months and wants to listen to it every day. We have not seen the video and still enjoy the music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Musically, their best yet, April 22, 2003

American success hasn't spoiled the Wiggles -- what it seems to have bought them is musical sophistication and much more polished production values. This album is their best produced yet, and in spots, it really rocks (in a wholesome, friendly way of course). I keep this one in the minivan to play for the kids, and I end up turning it on when I'm by myself, too. Don't miss the total Mick Jagger-y guest lead vocal on "Eagle Rock". All in all, pretty eclectic and interesting! P.S. My kids like it too.
