Just when I thought the Teletubby phase would never end we discovered the Wiggles. Now my 2 1/2 year old can't get enough of Anthony, Murray, Jeff and Greg. The DVDs are great - no rewinding. We enjoy the CDs even more since we can take them in the car and sing-a-long together to his favorite songs (all of them). After viewing the DVD/Tapes a few times my son learned the moves and listens to the CDs in his room and dances along. This is fun for the entire family. Wiggly Wiggly World adds lots of local charm to the fun songs written for the gang.

Hope you enjoy Wiggly Wiggly World as much as we did.

If you love the Wiggly World video, then you'll love listening to the CD as well. We have this going in the car constantly and we haven't gotten tired of it yet. Our 13 month old son Loves it! It is nice to know he can enjoy the wiggles in other ways than just watching the videos all day. I would highly recommend this if you have a Wiggles fan in your household.

From a kid's perspective my daughter (2) likes this cd (and video) quite a bit. I would have to say her favorite is Yummy Yummy, but this ranks up there and she does dance to a lot of the songs. I don't really agree that this is "slow" as others have said. It does have SOME slow songs, but who can take 40 minutes of constant jumping around and dancing? If you have seen these guys in concert they sweat more than Richard Simmons or Jane Fonda ever thought about. It looks like a serious workout. When you think about it, that's a lot of stimulation for a kid too so why not mix in a FEW slower songs with the get up and dance tunes as well? My husband really can't tolerate the Wiggles, but I like them from the perspective that my daughter is interacting (doing hand motions they have with some songs) or dancing and not just vegging in front of the TV. My husband agrees these are by far the most tolerable songs they have out. It was GREAT to hear Tim Finn formerly of Crowded House (I'm big fan) on a kid's cd/video. Mom stops folding laundry to join in the fun for "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" every time. This was a good find for us and I'm glad we added it to our collection.

Our whole family loves the video "Wiggly Wiggly World", (which is unfortunately not yet available on DVD), so this was an obvious choice when buying Wiggly cd's.

The songs are great to sing along to, and the bonus song, "Porcupine Pie" is an excellent cover of the original. This Wiggles cd has the most guest performers to date, eight in all, and they are all worthy of an "A" Listing, especially Christine Anu, Slim Dusty, Tim Finn and Rolf Harris. My son's favorites are "One Little Coyote" and "Morningtown Ride".

The two essential Wiggles cd's to buy are this one and Yummy Yummy.

One of the best children's music CD's I've heard, and I get to hear a lot of them. The DVD with the same title is excellent also.

If you have a Wiggles fan in your house and have most of their other releases, then by all means, be sure to get this one. It almost has a "country" feel, with some of the songs definitely sounding like they were penned by some of the Nashville greats. However, that just shows the diversity of this group who is not only able to get kids to interact and to learn at the same time, but to also teach them musically different languages and cultures. We've learned a LOT from the Wiggles in our house. My little one has been Wiggling for 2.5 years with no signs of stopping. This CD is a must for the car - it's both calming but energetic, if that's really possible. The song "Morningtown Ride" is just adorable and you'll have to get the DVD for SURE just to see that one. It's a favorite in our house. Grab this one for a little diversity - you'll be glad you did! Highly recommend!

Wiggly Wiggly World is my favorite Wiggle CD and DVD that I own. And I have all of them that they have produced. The reason this one is at the top is that I like the choice of songs and the guests they have included. This one really captures the great sound of the Wiggles

Our two young children love the Wiggles. My wife and I prefer this album one to the others that we've heard, and the kids like it as well, so it's a good compromise when we all listen to music together. The songs tend to be covers, often co-performed with famous Australian artists, and as such tend to be a bit more adult-oriented, but still kid-friendly. My wife's favorite song is the rendition of Split Enz's Six Months In A Leaky Boat, starring, of course, Captain Feathersword. That's pretty good, and there are a number of other standout tracks here, including Taba Naba and Hey, Hey, Hey, We're All Pirate Dancing.

I have a 17 month old boy and he LOVES The Wiggles. We got the CD for in the car. He has a whole bunch of their videos and always seems to wonder why he can hear them, but not see them. It's cute!

They are a great group for children and I recommend it to anyone who has children. They are upbeat and unique!

my 3 year old cant get enough of this disc. worst of all, i cant get these tunes out of my head. sublime children show drek without a purple dinosaur. lets hear it for fruit salad. yummy yummy. way better than the einstein series.
