These are good socks but please note that the fabric content isn't shown in the product description, other than "nylon reinforced". They're not made of cotton anymore. Rather, they are acrylic. This might make a difference to those of you who are sensitive to acrylic. Personally, I wish they hadn't changed it.

Started wearing these in high school (80's) cuz they were in style - had to use babysitting money to afford 'em!

Twenty years later and 300 miles from home I still wear them and so does my best friend back home! It's not so much fashionable any more, but practical.

These socks last for years, though I've had to darn a few toes, just normal wear and the the seam seperated. The cotton finish is amazingly soft and doesn't ever irritate my skin. Same with the elastic - it doesn't leave a bite mark like some socks can. For me, this is really important as I've had a back injury, multiple surgeries and permanent nerve damage in my legs. They can be really sensitive, so these are a blessing.

The price here is excellent and in some areas (like where I live now) they're hard to find. Instead of buying them when we go home at holidays, I can have them sent right to my door, safely packaged and arriving fast. AND... still cheaper than the full retail I'd pay back home!

Gotta love it! Can't beat that.

There's nothing quite like pulling on that brand new soft, slouchy, blinding white sock for the first time out of it's package! COMFORTABLE! And for me, full of memories too!

I USED TO LOVE THESE SOCKS. EXCEPT NOW THEIR MADE OF CHEAP ACRYLIC N NYLON ! YUCK !

WIGWAM....PLEASE..... BRING BACK YOUR 100% COTTON SLOUCH SOCKS !

I used to love these socks when they were made of cotton. the new material used by wigwam is horrible. It is uncomfortable and just horrible. I sent them all back and threw away the one pair I kept to see if I could get used to them. Get a clue WigWam and bring back REAL COTTON!!

These socks are quite nice. They fit well, feel soft and washed up well. I bought this item in white.

I had these socks for school, and I lost some of them. They are cheaper online than in stores. Mines were just a little bit too big, but if you want these socks I recommend that you buy these socks.

There is not a lot to say: either you like this type of sock or not. If you like Wigwam Slouch style, as I do, then there is no better sock in boots or sneakers. If you like thin stretchy type socks, get a different style in Wigwam or brand. They have been around a long time; the best.

I love these socks. There is nothing better than warm and cozy socks on a really cold day!
