5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value
Bought this Wii Family Pack for the new Wii Santa brought for the kids. I think it is a very good value from what I found when comparison shopping. We have used the wheels, the tennis rackets, the golf clubs, and the bat and so far so good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this if you have Motion Plus
This is a generic "kit" for Wii made by Intec, not unlike those you will find at closeout stores, and whereas the current Gold Box offer ($14.99) makes them reasonable value, there is one major flaw.
If you have a new system, or even an old system but have upgraded your controllers to the "Motion Plus" controllers with the additional base piece and rubber sleeve...

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this if you have Motion Plus, August 31, 2010

This is a generic "kit" for Wii made by Intec, not unlike those you will find at closeout stores, and whereas the current Gold Box offer ($14.99) makes them reasonable value, there is one major flaw.
If you have a new system, or even an old system but have upgraded your controllers to the "Motion Plus" controllers with the additional base piece and rubber sleeve (like those included in Wii Sports Resort bundle for example) your controllers will NOT fit any of these attachments, unless you remove the Motion Plus part of the controller, and rubber sleeve first.
The items themselves, are a little flimsy, and feel small in your hand, but do help you hold the remote as the game intended and will probably improve your gameplay.
I would consider buying this only if I had at least two older style controllers that I could use specifically for these sport attachments.
Having to remove the rubber grip, and then removing the motion plus controller addition, before trying to squeeze into these is a pain however, and gets old quickly when moving between the older sports games, and the newer ones so bear that in mind when purchasing.
Overall 3 stars, not great quality, but work OK

What makes this worth buying is the price being under $12 and the free shipping. The items are quite small. I would recommend looking at the size of the remotes inserted in the picture for scale reference. There are problems with some of the items and the sensor picking up the remote movement when inserted. These are not the best you could buy, however, if you are just getting started with a your system or new sporting games and you are purchasing this as something of a family starter kit for non-serious gamers then it will work very well for the cost. If you want high quality equipment and/or are using this for a beloved game for which you want a sense of realistic interactivity I don't think this package is for you.

I bought the Family Pack for my son's birthday to go along with the Wii. It seemed like a good idea and companion to the game system. They only drawback is it isn't compatable with the Wii Motion Plus so it can only be used with the original Wii Sport and not the Sport Resort. If I had known this I probably would not have bought it. It may get more use as we buy more games. Right now what gets the most use is the steering wheels.

The adapter that fits just about everything broke in the first week, both of them, the piece at the end that secures the remote broke and left it where it cuts into your hand.

Very unhappy with the quality and durability....

GREAT deal! Works well with games. Little difficult to get used to fishing but I think operator error - not product! Love the Wii!

1.0 out of 5 stars Worse than Useless, August 24, 2010

These are cheap plastic shells for the Wii remote meant to give more realism to some of the Wii sports games. They are worse than useless. In order to fit the Wii remote into them, you have to 1) remove the soft plastic covering that Nintendo says must be used (when not using these items, presumably) and 2) unplug and remove the Wii motion plus sensor from the bottom of the Wii remote. Of course, when finished and/or switching to another Wii game that does not involve these faux sports items, you have to 1) re-attach the Wii motion plus sensor and 2) put the soft plastic cover back on the Wii remote. It it hard to imagine that repeating these actions can have anything but a deleterious effect on the Wii cover and remote and/or motion plus sensor.

In addition to all this, the Wii remote functions just fine without them for tennis, fencing, baseball etc.

I ordered this along with my first ever Wii without really understanding what I was ordering and what I really needed to play the sports games. Big mistake. Now I know. You don't need this stuff and even if you have it, I think you are unlikely to use it. The Wii itself is amazing beyond belief. This plastic junk is as bad as the Wii is great.

I bought this pack few weeks ago thinking in add a bit of fun to the wii console so i tried this, well since i got this pack i haven't used it that much, you cant use it with your wii motion and lets say the only 2 types of cases we use are the ones with Nintendo shape control and the wheel drive.

Sometimes the controls seem to block the remote signal (the rackets) making them difficult to use at times but overall the set is ok.
