The stand is designed to rest the Wii console in the center slot and the Wii controller on a side slot. The center slot houses a built-in fan that is aligned with the vent on the bottom of the Wii console, maintaining the system cool, preventing overheating. To recharge those Wii Controller batteries, just insert them into the charger located on the left side of the stand. While plugged in, the base of the stand illuminates with a blue/indigo light that is comparable to the light on the console, making this system just as enjoyable to look at as it is to play.

Ok ... good value, keeps your Wii cool, charges a set of AA batteries for Wii wireless devices and glows a cool blue color. What's not to like? This cooling stand works well and looks great. Even runs off the USB port of the Wii!
