I tried using this adapter and had numerous issues. First, the original adapter is a polarized plug with means that it has to be inserted into the socket according to the size of the prongs. The plug end on this adapter did not indicate a polarized plug. When I plugged the unit into the wall outlet and started up my Wii my television was unable to accept the scan frequency coming out of my Wii. I did manage to get it working once (after sorting out the polarization) but found the DC converter to be extremely susceptible to electrical noise which distorted the television image. I tried moving it away from my other electrical stuff like DVD and Amplifier which made it a bit better. The next day the television again couldn't read the scan frequency coming out of my Wii. Original adapter...no problem. Bottom line is that I wouldn't waste my money on this item!

This AC adapter causes interference in the video signal causing the image to be fuzzy and jump around. Spend a few more dollars and get the official Nintendo Wii AC adapter. DO NOT BUY!

I was hesitant about purchasing a generic power supply, especially after having to return one with a faulty cable (from a local store). However I wanted to get my Wii hooked up so I tried again, this time with this brand. It worked right away. I've been using it for the last two weeks with zero problems.

Bought a second set of cables so it would be easier to move the game between two tvs with connections in the back. works fine and solved our problem.

This replaced my OEM cord and worked fine!

I would say Wii has a problem with their factory cords since I do not use the game much at all and this is my 3rd cord!!! WHAT!!!! I cannot believe Wii does not have a fix for this!

The first replacement cord came from nintendo under warentee but this one was past that stage!!

works like the original and do the same an equal product, I wait to see if protecs my wii has the original did... I hope... soo

if not I will cry for greedy.

This is the first power adapter I have ever had to buy for anything in my life. First off i am very disappointed that I had to in the first place, I would think Wii game consoles would be built better than that for the price.

This adapter works great, and I hope it lasts longer than the original one.

This is good for a emergency spare that is about it.You can see the interference as it rolls from the bottom of the screen and makes its way to the top and starts over again.I switched to the Big N brand adapter and the interference was gone.Save your money buy the genuine one, it wont be as easy on your wallet but it'll be way easier on your eyes. 0 stars

Our Wii power adapter went out after a power outage. After looking at several stores, none of which carried replacements, I looked online. This was by far the cheapest one, so I figured it would be worth a try. That turned out to be a good choice. It's been over a month and it is working perfectly. Overall, I'd say this is a great bargain.

I bought this after the original one burnt out during a storm. I works just as good. Great price too.
