I purchased this because the resistance band that came with EA Sports Active snapped on me (don't know my own strength : ). I was thrilled when I got this because the band is made of much better quality - unlike the original band, which is like a thin rubber band, this one is fabric elastic with rubber-grip handles. This morning I used it and 1) the leg strap doesn't fit around my thigh. Granted, I have a 24" upper thigh (the reason I'm working out!). I still have the original leg strap so I was fine there. 2) The resistance band was too short to properly do the shoulder presses - even if I held it with just one foot (I'm 5' 5"). So it's a huge disappointment. I will probably return it...

I bought this last week and tried to fit it around my leg. It only made it around my calf. Luckily I had some vecro that I used to extend the length of it. Also the elastic band that comes with it isn't stretchy enough to reach over my head like some of the exercises require. (I'm 6' tall) I could only stretch it up to my chest. So unless your 5'2" or shorter and very skinny, this product WILL NOT work. Pay the extra $3 for the official one.

My husband bought the game WII Active it came with all it needed. But I wanted to work out with my husband and or sons so that's when I purchased this item from Amazon I found that the Active WII workout kit that came with the game couldn't compare to the one I just purchased at Amazon. This one was made so much better the leg strap fit better, the elastic resistance band already had handles attached. The other you had to make a lop and make your own handles yourself. Glad I purchased this, when my family and I workout together you know which one I'm using!

The leg strap is VERY small. The velcro doesn't stick unless you can get it pulled as tight as it will go to stay stuck during use. It has to be right at the top of your thigh to give the cord to the nunchuck room to move. If you put it lower on your leg, the cord is too short and the nunchuck falls out of the pocket. So, if you weigh about 100 pounds and want to use this item to work out, then buy it. But if you're chubby and want to use this to be unchubby- forget it. BIg hassel!

Everything was great except that the band does not stretch. Even if you're about 5' 1" it does not do the trick. Other than that, the rest of the stuff seemed to be okay.

I did not realize when I purchase this kit that it was not wii brand. It does not mention anywhere in the decription that it is not made by wii. I purchased this for an additional kit so that two people could workout at the same time. I was excited to get it for almost half the cost of the one I already had, but very disappointed when I received it. The band is made of the same type of material that suspenders are made of. It does not stretch far enough to do the exercises from the wii activ workouts. Perhaps it would be long enough for a small child. I am only 5 ft tall and it wouldn't stretch far enough for me. Also the leg strap would only work for a child or a woman with very thin legs. There is nothing to make it adaptable for larger legs. If you buy this I wish you luck. The seller only allows 1-2 weeks to return it and I missed that boat. It wouldn't bother me so much because I paid less than $12.00 for it except that it is totally useless. I'll be more careful next time.

This kit seems to be of decent quality, but the problem is that it seems to be a child size thigh strap and resistance strap. The package does not state that, but unless you're thin and 5'3", both will be too short for you. The thigh strap is a good 6" shorter than the OEM one that comes with the Wii Active game.

Kit includes legstrap and exercise band. Legstrap is needed because strap in game breaks with use. This one is much higher quality, better material, fine stitching. Would be great except they made it too short for the velcro to connect around my thigh. I am only 195# 6' so not big legs. I had to sew on additional velcro to make product work. Now is excellent.
