This remote is a total throw-back to the old days. It is very similar to holding the old style control in your hands. The only issues that I had was it is a little bit bigger than the old-school one. It is a bit harder to hold if you have smaller hands. The other thing is that I can't hardly get the wii remote out of the darn thing! It is really wedged in there. It does not damage it and I always eventually pull it out of there, but with nails....it is tough sometimes!

First off, as other reviewers have stated, this "Big Oversized Super Shell (B.O.S.S.) is just that. It's oversized, it's comfortable in your hands, and it's built very sturdily. My five year old daughter uses it constantly. She has no problems reaching the buttons. When I first opened the package, I was expecting some cheap flimsy piece of plastic. Not the case! This controller shell is made of thick plastic!

Some people have been having trouble getting the remotes out. In the directions, it shows a small panel at the end of the controller. You pull this "panel" (or tab, for lack of better words) and pull the wrist strap. Voila! It pops out, no resistance of any kind.

This is a great buy for the money. I can't get over how well this controller fits in your hand. I thought it would be bulky and heavy. I was wrong!

If you're looking for a good alternative to the 40 dollar "classic controller" offered by Nintendo, you should seriously take a look at this product.

I got this to play donkey kong returns and it reminds me of the old school controller and back in the good ol' days. i'm definitely glad i got it. i was worried by a review that i read about the size..... but i'm a 21 yr old gal and 5'3'' and it fits great in my hands. i don't have any problems at all with it.

I really didn't expect much out of this considering it's a non-official product and it's just a Wii Remote clip on that is often sold in questionable type stores.

It is actually very well made and works great. New Super Mario Brothers is so much easier to play with one of these, it holds the controller very well, the release mechanism works great. I bought four in different colors, just in case I can ever get four players together.

It isn't expensive and it's well worth what you pay.

I bought two of these and they're great! They fit the controller perfectly by snapping in and remove easily by pulling down on the release latch and up on the wrist strap. Meanwhile the controller is held securely. I have no problems recharging the batteries while leaving this device on. Both controllers fit on the recharging pad. This is a must have for any game like Super Mario Brothers and Donkey Kong Country Returns which play in the classic horizontal position. The price was right and in my opinion they should included these with each Wii controller.

This is a shell that you put your wii remote into. It is the perfect size and works great! Fits very comfortably in your hands. Some reviews said it was hard to get the remote out of the shell but there is a release button in the back that pops it right out. This shell is more like the original nintendo remotes than the classic remotes for the wii. GREAT purchase!!

This is an incredible accessory. Nintendo's classic Wii controllers don't work with Mario, which is a real shame because the standard Wii remote isn't very good for platform games. This makes Mario a dream to play.

It's bigger than I expected, but feels very comfortable in the hand, even with the Wii Remote stuck on the back side. The large size was a bit of a throw back, it's as though my adult sized hands fit it the same way they did when I played NES Mario as a kid.

The Wii Remote doesn't pop out without a little bit of effort so it's not practical to pull it on and off all of the time. If you want to use it with rechargeable batteries I recommend the Wii Energizer Flat Panel Induction Charger so you can just set it down to charge without removing the shell.

I wish it came in black or white instead of the relatively childish colors but it's a minor complaint for such a handy accessory.

This is the best $10 you can spend on the Wii after shelling out $50 for Mario. I'm 100% better than I was with the ergonomically challenged sideways Wii Remote.

5/5 works great. I have big hands and struggle with the wii-motes D-pad. This controller 'clip-on' works great. Unlike one of the previous reviews it is actually rather easy to remove/seperate from the wii-mote. It has a spring loaded piece that needs to be pushed over to release the 2 'hooks' that hold the wii-mote in place.

This controller is great! My mother has trouble using the regular wii remotes and this brought her back to the old days of super nintendo. plus the color is great!
