I have this gun, but I did not purchase it on Amazon, and it's all white instead of partially blue. However, it's the same gun. I noticed that the previous reviewers took issue with the triggers. After that last review, I felt I need to post my own since I'm still not quite sure if that kid was speaking English or not.

After that last review, I felt I need to post my own since I'm still not quite sure if that kid was speaking English or not.

The dual triggers are a joke. The regular trigger presses the B button and that works fine. The lower trigger (the one on the handle) is supposed to press the A button, but it does not. I'm pretty sure the designers of this product were high on meth when they put together the blue prints.

That said.. with a little modification, this pistol is pretty awesome with Modern Warfare Reflex. I took the blue thing off the top (the mechanism that's used to press the A button) and taped down the lower trigger.. so none of the non-working junk gets in the way.

The big pro is that the nunchuck is mounted on the side of the pistol. This is actually huge, because it gives relatively quick access to the directional pad and the A, +, -, 1, and 2 buttons without having to move your hands totally out of position. This gives it big advantage over the Wii zapper.

So, don't buy this expecting the A trigger to work.. it simply doesn't. I don't find this to be a deal breaker, though, because with the second trigger taped down, you can get a full solid grip on it without having to worry about accidentally pressing the additional trigger.

My one other complaint, but this is true with most of the Wii guns.. is that there should be a counter weight in the rear of the pistol because of the amount of weight that the wiimote adds to the front of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very front heavy, December 24, 2009

I have this gun, but I did not purchase it on Amazon, and it's all white instead of partially blue. However, it's the same gun. I noticed that the previous reviewers took issue with the triggers. I have had no problem getting the A button trigger to work. In case it's not clear, the trigger on the grip is for the B button, and the trigger in the actual trigger slot is for the A button. When you insert the Wiimote, there are two "flaps," one covers the A button. When you pull the trigger, two plastic bits pull back on a another piece located on the underside of the flap that covers the A button. This piece of plastic presses the button. If you don't have the flap down all of the way to where it locks in place, it will pop up every time you pull the trigger. Once I had this flap locked down properly, the trigger for the A button worked fine. The trigger for the B button also works fine. The only real issue (aside from the nunchuck functions not being integrated within the controller - I saw another gun on Amazon that had that functionality) is that once you put the Wiimote into the controller, the gun becomes very front heavy. This isn't too much of an issue if you have two hands on the gun or are also using the nunchuck and therefore have the second hand on that, but if you are playing a game that does not require the nunchuck, you probably want to be able to hold the controller in one hand. Because of how the thing is weighted, it becomes a little tiring to hold it after a while, particularly in the wrist. Because the gun is essentially still a two-handed thing, I can't really say it's any better than the zapper that comes with Link's Crossbow Training. It all comes down to button positioning as this gun and the zapper give you two different options. Also, if you're left-handed, this gun sucks in that the nunchuck attaches to the left side of the gun rather than giving you the option of putting it on the left or right side. If you could comfortably use the gun for long durations one-handedly, it wouldn't be a problem because you could just hold the nunchuck in your right hand and the gun in your left, but because of the aforementioned front-heaviness, the gun is more comfortable if you use two hands. Thus, a game that requires use of the nunchuck will force you to attach it to the gun so you can properly support its weight. Fortunately for me, I can use my right hand about as well as I can use my left hand, but it's still annoying that I'm pretty much forced to use my right hand. The zapper lets you use either hand for the trigger.
