Since the Wii Zapper was released for the Nintendo Wii, a lot of companies have made knockoffs that just missed the mark in control, and especially gameplay. This Wii Gameblaster Light Gun attachment for the Nintendo Wii, connects the nunchuck controller and Wii Remote a bit easier, for those who are geared to play games like Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and Link's Crossbow Training. While the attachment is the same price as the Wii Zapper that Nintendo made, the add-on doesn't do anything to seperate it from what Nintendo had made. The control also makes the gameplay a bit more choppy, as you easily lose control. All in all, you're better off with the Wii Zapper.

I bought this items to play The Conduit and it's great to be able to remap the controls and allow the Nunchuk trigger(s) to shoot. However, the quality control of the gun's design itself left something to be desired.
When I put the Wii Remote Controller into the slot, I found that the trigger button was shaped incorrectly and pushed against the trigger (B) button even when not in use, interfering with regular Wiimote usage. After using a hobby knife, I was able to shave a few millimeters off of the offending areas, and voilà, works like a charm. The other issue is that the grip for the Nunchuk is large, making it tiring to hold (YMMV). If it weren't for these two issues, I'd give this a solid 4 stars for the way it easily comes apart for the throwing action of the Nunchuk and the ability to rotate the Wiimote with respect to the Nunchuk but also with respect to overall build quality.

the plastic trigger that is used for the B button stays depressed because it is too large. the plastic flap that covers the nunchuck cable while its connected to the wiimote is flimsy and doesnt stay in the closed position. the space behind the wiimote for the nunchuck connector is too small. you have to remove the wrist strap to make room for the nunchuck connector. otherwise it wont fit. you also have to connect the nunchuck cable to the wiimote before installing it into the plastic holder. but the process of removing the wiimote requires you to lift it up from the bottom where the nunchuck cable is connected. extra care must be taken to avoid bending or breaking the connector. overall this is a bad product. i would give it a zero if possible. save money and buy a perfect shot accessory instead.
