I bought this for a gamecube controller. The reason I bought this is because Wavebirds are discontinued, and they can't rumble! Also, wavebirds eat batteries. The point is that I bought this. They work great with no lagg or anything wrong. You can also plug 1 extention cord into another extention cord for tons of feet. Since the only seller of this on amazon is mycarryingcase, this will probably come from them. When I got my cords they were defective and I e-mailed there customer servace. They are going to send me new ones to replace my defective ones free of charge. They were very helpful and got back to me fast. I would buy again from them, and definetely more products! Again, this is a very good deal for these cables, and they work great!

ok so it says 2x. i thought that meant that it was twice as long and ordered 4. it actually means 2 extenders. so i got 8 extenders. ROFL!!!!

I bought the cord along with the Outdoor Sports Challenge for Wii. I wasn't sure I would need it, but I knew the mat for this game was going to be about 15 feet from the TV, so I wanted to be safe. Turns out I was right. The cord for the mat was much too short to reach my TV. The cord works great. It plugs right into the side of the Wii. Great buy for anyone using the Wii games with mats (including DDR).

I purchased these for my Wii as Nintendo no longer produces Wavebird controllers by virtue of them being sued by a patent owner over the technology. I didn't want to pay for a used Wavebird on eBay, so I bought some of these. I sit back from my HDTV about 9 feet so I needed these for the wired Gamecube controllers and they work very well. Even with Mario Kart Wii, there is some lag with the Wavebird, but there is no lag with these extension cables. Highly recommended!

Both of these extenders failed after about 2 months. The female port on the extender separated from the cord. It seems like the ends of these extenders are merely clipped on similar to an ethernet cable, unlike the cords on the gamecube controllers themselves.

I bought 2 sets of this product (so 4 cables total). I was not disappointed. They all work perfectly and they accomplished what I bought them for. I have 2 big screen TV's and the 2 rooms I use for these have couches that sit back a lot further than the standard gamecube controller cord would reach. Hook 1 of these extensions up to each controller and problem solved. I also like the length because I still had room to go back farther but this allowed each cord to rest on the ground so there is less of a tripping hazard for those people that never fail to walk in front of everyone and don't pay attention to the cords. They even work for Bongos so that is a nice feature to be able to move the bongos back as well for those games.

Cords were delivered promptly and worked exactly as they're supposed to. I've had these for about a year now and have had no problems at all.

Product showed up as described and very fast considering it was shipped from overseas. Great seller.

Well, one of the cords lasted almost a day, the other is still working, however, I had to secure it myself due to the lack of quality on this product.

The wiring is not shielded, but so far, no interference. The wiring goes into the connection harness, however, it is a push through hole and has no anchoring. The only thing holding the connector to the wiring is the soldering points. I have not even put any pressure on the wire, and it fell apart. The other I taped up so that the wiring would not be constantly pulling on the connection points.

I pulled apart the one that broke and found the connectors to be made of a poor quality that had oxidation and corrosion. The wire guage is so small that a soldering iron will melt right through the wiring. 3 of the connections were broken at the pin/wire soldering point, and the others were broken pins themselves. Spend a little more and get a quality product.

-Both 6ft (I think they're 6ft) cords work well.

-When plugging into the female end of the extension cord, it has a very noticeable snugness. It could be a good thing or a bad thing.

-Both cords smell new. lol

-Great value if more than one extension cord is needed.
