But since the cord doesn't bother me while I'm playing, it's fine. But overall, I rate this headset a 5/5.

With a good chatting headset one should be able to listen clearly, avoid sending too much noise trough the internet, must weight very little, and don't affect the environmental sound (specially if you are playing FPSs) and (maybe) background music.
This device excels in all of the above, with the only extra exception that it may have been wireless since the Wii is pretty much a wireless console. But the very long, thin and weightless cable compensate for it.
I'm sad that both Nintendo and 3rd parties have not supported VOIP devices before (including the Wii-speak), since now it seems that the Wii is dying for the lack of game contend announced to be released in 2011. From all the 2011 announcements it seems that only Conduit 2 will use this device which should make you have double thoughts about buying this item for use it only in two FPS games. The price is relatively cheap so you may still buy it if you are a FPS fanatic that can't afford to have a nice PC or a better suited console.
I'm not giving it 5 stars cause it should have been wireless and for the lack of 3rd party support, and for the timing of the launch of this device, it should have been released couple of years ago. Otherwise, this device gets the job done nicely at a relatively low cost.
So far I play Black Ops almost every day and this device makes the experience even better, ideal if you have a clan or wanna chat with friends while killing virtual people over the internet.
It works well and easy to use! Plugs into the back of the Wii has a volume control and a mute control. My teenage son is having a ball chatting with everyone playing MW3 (makes me a little nutty, LOL) The ear piece that fits around his ear is a minor annoyance for him. The cord is thin and only 10ft long ~ so I have been telling him to be especially careful in the handling. We have an almost year old kitten who is just fascinated with the cord - Spray bottle is always ready. I did put an USB extender cord to add about 3 more feet to the cord.
I was a little worried that it didn't work right away out of the box but I think it had to charge up a little. My son was in the middle of a game and then it started working and so far is working fine!
there is a website [...] (but I did not buy it there) On box says works with CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS but we got it for playing CALL OF DUTY MW3
All in all we are very pleased with our purchase!

I wish WII had Bluetooth, but this works well. My son loves to play interactive games (like COD), he likes it now that he can talk as well as hear.Published on February 2, 2014 by D. Harper
It's obviously not the best headset out there, but it works for the price. The price is much better than the other mics - I mean $70+ for a headset for the wii? Uh no. Read morePublished on October 20, 2013 by Nancy

I ordered this for my son in white, but it came in black. Not a problem, since it is what we ordered just the wrong color. Read morePublished on September 3, 2013 by jauna
