Wii Inflatable Racing Kart

I have a 3-year-old son and two 7-year-old daughters. My 3-year-old son absolutely loves cars and racing. I saw this accessory and thought that my son would love it, and I was right. All three of my kids have a blast playing with it, and I think the accessory makes racing games much easier for my 3-year-old. Unfortunately, I had the same problems that several other reviewers have noted: the steering wheel is held on by very flimsy plastic tabs that broke on the first day of use, and the seams where the back rest attaches to the body of the car ripped on both sides also on the first day of use. I should note that no adult ever used the accessory, just my 3-year-old son and two small, 7-year-old girls.

We glued the steering wheel back on after it broke and it works fine. Also, the car is designed with multiple inflatable areas (tires are inflated separately, as are the steering column, the back rest, and the main body of the car), so even though the body of the car is deflated and basically irreparable because of where the tears are, the accessory still works to some extent and still resembles a race car. It is not as comfortable as it was before the tears, but my children just play with it sitting directly on the carpet or with a pillow underneath and still seem to love the accessory.

Our son received this for his birthday and, like so many other reviewers noted, the design is not good and it broke in the first few hours of play. We e-mailed with CTA Digital, who instructed us to send it back and they would "replace it." We did so. IT HAS BEEN NINE MONTHS AND WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM, OR RECEIVED A NEW CAR OR REFUND. I have tried to call and e-mail but all we get is the canned "We'll get back to you in 72 hours" response. Nothing else. We have no car and no refund. They win the "Worst product, plus worst customer service ever" award!!

This was horrible. Not only is it a pain to blow up because there are around 10 seperate air compartments but you put it all together and the steering wheels do not stay on. It is held on by flimsy plastic tabs that break when you try to put it back on. POOR DESIGN. And without the wheel what is the point! It is a waste of money....very disappointed....did not even last 5 minutes without the wheel totally breaking off. HORRIBLE!!!!! Do not recommend!!!!

I bought two of these for my kids because they love mario kart. We opened them and inflated them and were very impressed. The kids loved them. Unfortunately after one day, both of the karts ripped at the seam where the seat meets the body of the car. I believe they say this car can support a few hundred pounds. My kids weight less than 50 pounds each, so this has to be a design flaw, or just poor quality. The only good thing about all of this is that they were willing to let me return them both.

I bought 2 of these inflatable cars for my kids. Within the first hour both cars tore in the identical place. Both tore on the seem where the corner of the backrest joins the main car. Because it is on the seem it is impossible to stop it from leaking. Bad design. I could understand that things happen when using inflatables, but to have them both do the identical thing leads me top believe it is a problem with the design. Oh yea, the steering wheels also ripped off on both cars breaking the clips. Should have just flushed my money down the toilet. Would have got the same enjoyment. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

Hi, I recently bought the inflatable kart for my son to use with his friends while they play mario kart. He loves it. He uses it every time he is playing Wii, and all his friends want to get one too, and be the one to sit in it while playing. I used an inexpensive electric pump to inflate it. worked great. This is a fun, unique toy

My 4 year old received this as a Christmas present and we finally got around to setting it up today. He enjoyed using it for less than 2 hours - until the steering wheel broke off. He wasn't being unduly rough with it, but the connector is very flimsy with only a little tab holding the wheel to the cart. I've called the customer service number and they've promised to send me another in 6 to 8 weeks. Try explaining that to a 4 year old.

Yeah, it may handle the weight of an adult, but the plastic piece that holds the wheel in place cannot handle the force of an adult pulling on it during a good multiplayer race. One or two pulls later the wheel came off and broke the tabs that held it in place. Again, this is only an observation re: adult use, it may still be fine for kids

Bought this for my daughter. 3 days of use and this thing already had a leak that was too big to fix. My daughter's weight is way below the maximum weight. Although, my daughter did playing Mario Kart with it. I would rate it a 5 if it were sturdier. So, I give it one star for 3 days of use.

My 6 year old loves the idea but the steering wheel broke the first hour. 1 of the three plastic clips broke off and now we will have to try the glue approach.

Wonderful idea but poor execution/design.
