1.0 out of 5 stars My cat loves it!, December 6, 2007

= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun (Video Game)
Bought this six weeks ago, and really, I haven't been able to use it for any game. The laser pointer is way off, the material is very cheap, so that it wobbles, and it really scratches the Wiimote and numchuck when putting them in place.
To shoot, you have to use both hands, twist your right wrist in a very uncomfortable way, then use your thumb to press the wiimote button. Eek.

Anyway. My cat loves it. All I have to do is pick the gun up, and she goes crazy looking for the laser. I guess that was her early Christmas gift.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waiste your money, December 10, 2007
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun (Video Game)
I was so excited when I first saw this item. I thought it will be cool to play Resident Evil or alike games with the feeling of a gun. DO NOT WAISTE YOUR MONEY. WHY?
1) Once you put the wiimote and you plugin the nunchuck on the holder, it is IMPOSSIBLE to take it away. I cut my hand trying to remove it.
2) A trigger is supposted to be on the trigger and for all games you must shoot with the B button which is on top.
3) Finally, you cannot even pass the cord from the nunchuck to the wiimote.

As a wii freak I love all kind of gadgets for my console, but this is something I shouldn't have bought. Worst product ever.

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid at all costs, December 13, 2007
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

It is set up to use the Z button (on the nunchuk) for the trigger. Good idea except most games don't use Z for a trigger, they use B!

1.0 out of 5 stars infrared laser?, January 6, 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun (Video Game)
Brilliant. infrared lasers are invisible to the human eye.

What they really have here is a cheap red laser diode and they thought they would make it sound more technologically advanced by saying it is an "infrared laser"

Wooo!

1.0 out of 5 stars seriously?, December 20, 2007
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun (Video Game)
The other reviewers claim that there aren't any games that you can use the Z button as a trigger. This isn't entirely true. Some games allow you to change the button configuration to have Z be the trigger. Ghost Squad is one of them.

That being said, I wouldn't recommend this at all. A laser pointer? Really CTA Digital? You thought THAT would be a good idea?

Hang it up, CTA Digital.

Save your money...I loved the idea of this gun with laser but the only problem is the laser is just for show. it is completely off from where the gun is shooting and there is no way to adjust it. completely worthless.

1.0 out of 5 stars THE ENGINEER SHOULD BE FIRED!, December 24, 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Infrared Laser Magnum Gun (Video Game)
I do not believe this product was field tested by the manufacture. As stated in the previous reviews, the laser is WAY off, and it is very difficult to remove the Wii Remote from the gun. Also, there is no place for the cord, so it is just dangling all around. I can safely say that this is the worst product I have ever owned, out of anything I have ever bought. It is the least function, cheapest, and most impossible product to use. Pardon my english grammar!

I found it difficult to attach the wii remote and joystick. It doesn't fit right. So I haven't even used it.

This thing has no purpose other than a Wii remote holder, but you can use it as a light chaser for your cat.
