4.0 out of 5 stars Seems small at first glance
This Carry Case seems small, and I was concerned that it would not hold everything, but I was suprised. I carry the Wii, Sensor Bar, 4 Wii Remotes (in the interior with the Wii), 2 Nunchucks (on the 2 side mess pockets, the power adapter (the front pocket), and the video cable (the front pocket).

Pros

This case holds everything so secure, unlike the G-Pak Carrying Case.

There is enough cushion to not have to worry about damage to your parts

Small so it fits nicely in small areas, like under the seat on a plane.

Cons

the Wiimotes buttons can be pressed in the case, so I have turn around one of the 2 batteries

No real room for any games... I did stick 3 games in cases in inside area near the Wii but things were tight. If you got a small CD wallet (no cases), then you would be good.

While the Wii is still hard to find, I bring mine over to play with friends on a pretty regular basis and hoped this would be perfect. But I have an easier time using a generic bag made for a laptop.

For a bag that is specifically designed to easily & conveniently transport the Wii, this was poorly designed. Had it been just a little bit larger with a few extra pockets for a second Remote + Nunchuk and games, I would easily rate this a 4 or 5*. But it isn't, so I can't.

UPSIDE -- It DOES fit most things if you're willing to work at it and toss a lot in the main compartment with the console, but I can do that in most laptop bags. And the padding is nice.

DOWNSIDE -- I would have preferred 2 additional pockets for Controllers/Nunchuks, a pocket or wallet-style slots for a handful of game disks, and maybe a dedicated place for the sensor bar.

Look for a better bag or settle for using a generic tote bag you already have because this design doesn't offer much. I missed opportunity.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's ok, December 23, 2006

It's made pretty well for what the bag says it holds (one Wii remote, one classic controller, a nunchuck, the system, IR bar, power block and the a/v cables). Try to put more in, and it gets a little tougher to do it easily. I use it to pack away 3 Wii remotes, two nunchucks and a classic controller. It's a tight fit and sometimes the Wii remotes have buttons pressed so the batteries drain if they're in the bag too long (there's probably a better way to pack up all that stuff).

The elastic banded mesh pockets on the side come in handy (holds one of my remotes as well as some batteries).

The picture that is on the box didn't show the power block in the correct spot, which was annoying, but meh. Overall the product itself is cool if you're not bringing too much with you.

1.0 out of 5 stars The messenger bag is too small., December 27, 2006

The messenger bag is way too small. All I could get in the bag was the wii, two nunchuks, connections and the IR bar (which I thought would break if I forced it in). The remotes I had to put in the side pouches after I took out the batteries. I could not fit any games in it. I took it back to where I purchased it. Nintendo needs to revisit the carrying case department!

I bought this case despite a few negative reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the reviewers were in error. This case will hold your Wii, sensor bar, video cable, AC adapter, 3 remotes, 3 nunchuks, and even some spare batteries. The only thing it doesn't hold is your games, but I think you're better off having a separate CD case for those anyways.

The point being, this case is everything it promises to be. I packed our Wii in it for the holidays and then packed it with clothes in a suitcase. It survived the trip just fine. While out of town, I carried it to two different houses. The carry strap is reasonably comfortable, and the case kept everything secure for the trips.

Overall, I'm very happy with this case. When you do pack it, just follow the diagram included with the case, and everything will fit with no problems.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wii bags get the message accross, August 14, 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Messenger Bag (Accessory)
While using this bag for transportation across the country my wii stayed safe and secure. This bag fit everything it claims and more, yes this does come with a snug fit but if you notice the size of the bag and what you are expecting to fit into it, it exceeds expectations. Yeah, I would of like it to be a little bigger but then again it fit my wii with 3 wii-motes and 3 nunchucks, room for extra batteries, the battery charger and all cords with room for 2 full size game cases. I would recommend purchasing an extra hard case holder for my games since the games are $50 a piece and could somehow get loose from their case then scratched plus then you can have the room to fit all other wii accessories in the bag. So if you are a wii fan looking for something compact to transport your gear I highly recommend the Wii messenger bag.

1.0 out of 5 stars way too small, February 27, 2007
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Messenger Bag (Accessory)
first of all the bag is only a little bit bigger than the wii itself. second, there is no room for the AV cords or games. to get the sensor bar into the case is hard to do without the bar snapping. the remotes buttons get pressed constantly while in the bag and there is no room for the cord on the nunchuck. there is also no place to put the console stand or sensor bar stand. there is a pocket for games but to get the AV cords in this pocket must be used. there are mesh pockets on the sides of the bag but the only thing that fits in these are the wii remote and nunchuck. this would be a good thing if the wii remote fit snugly in the mesh pocket and buttons werent getting pressed while in it. but to fit the AC adapter in the bag, the wii remote and nunchuck must be put in these mesh pockets.

I dont understand what people are complaining about. Everything works perfectly. The sensor bar fits in nicely. I set mine up and was able to get the wii system, power brick, cables, two remotes, two nunchucks, sensor bar, wii stand, and the clear circular thing that keeps the wii stand balanced. I put all that stuff in there and had no problem. This thing is perfect size and everything fits snug. If you had a small game case you could probably fit it in there if you didn't put the stand in. The only complaiont I guess is no room for games. But personally I dont mind having my games seperately. I use this bag because I travel alot across the country and it just makes it so much easier to carry my wii on the plane.

This review is from: Wii Messenger Bag (Accessory)
This is a really great little bag. It is attractive, well-made, well-cushioned and provides a lot of pockets and ways to store your Wii components. What I personally use it for is a way to store my Wii controllers, manuals and games near the sofa when I'm not playing. My Wii console sits on top of my stereo subwoofer next to the TV and I store 2 classic controllers, two numchucks, two Wii controllers, my two Wii games, and the 2 Wii manuals. All of that fits nicely inside, and the bag itself looks pretty cool in the living room with a nice Wii logo and soft colors. Now, it's true, it would be impossible to fit all of this in PLUS the console and cords and sensor, which is why I think this bag company should come out with a second, bigger bag model. This smaller one is useful and good for a lot of different jobs, but they should make a bigger one with the same quality and more features so hard-core gamers can carry around their stuff with enough room. Still, this bag is very nice and useful to me, and I'm glad I bought it. If I need to take my Wii for a weekend, it is still big enough to make the trip with the controllers and numchuks. I can also use it just to carry my controllers and games and some supplies if i visit someone who has their own Wii. I am a video game amateur, but I can assure you this is a very high-quality product. The company just needs to expand their product line.

"I bow to Wii." I am a new disciple.
