This for sure feels better than just tilting the wiimote to turn the car. Kids really love it since they feel as if they are driving when they use the wheel. However, it needs a little getting used to since you are kind of turning the wheel in the air rather than on a pivoted point as in other game wheels.

One other problem is the lack of wiimote cursor once you put it into the steering wheel. This could have addressed by simply making a small hole on the side where the IR sensor is. That way you dont have to take the remote in and out of the wheel often.

Bottomline: Can live with out it, but cheap enough if kids like it.

This is a wheel for use with the Nintendo Wii remote. Not much more to it than that. The idea is that your remote fits snugly inside, and the wheel gives you a more realistic racing experience than just tilting the remote by itself.

This wheel works pretty well--I like the weight of it and the overall feel. The Wiimote fits quite snugly in there and is a bit difficult to insert and remove, but I'd say that's a good thing since you don't want it fitting loosely. It did NOT fit so tight that it scratched or marked my Wiimote in any way.

This is a great product if you like racing games or just want an accessory that gives you a better feel for driving. And you can't argue much with the price.

This wheel is pretty decent, especially for the price. Who can beat $9.99 with free shipping? Some people argue the wheel is not necessary, of course not, but that is not the point is it?

Pros:
- Great value
- Good tactile feel, not slippery

Cons:
- Actual wireless eye is covered, which is not necessary during any games I have played. It seems like it should have been cut out though.
- The controller fits in the wheel fairly snuggly, which is either a pro or a con I guess depending how you view it. I hope it loosens up some.

Personally I recommand Excite Truck for a good starter game to use with the wheel, it is an instant hit.

I bought this to use in playing my racing games, specifically the Indy 500 vintage racing game. Everyone has already hit the high points and low points, but here they are from one more buyer -

Pros -
- remote fits snugly, no real risk of popping out
- the material feels good
- there are cutouts in the rear so the trigger button is still accessible

Cons -
- the Wiimote stops functioning as a pointer once it is in the wheel. You have to have it out to start your game and then pop it into the wheel. Once you're done racing you have to pop it back out in order to close up the game. Any button navigation is fine while the Wiimote is in the wheel, just the pointer aspect.
- it's small, just like in the picture
- it's not on a fixed base, which might prove awkward if you are used to other driving wheels from other game systems
- if you use a Wiimote jacket, forget about it. You're going to have to take it off in order to get the Wiimote into the wheel.

I'm disappointed that the pointer aspect wasn't considered when making the wheel. Otherwise, the rest of the stuff was pretty obvious when I bought it.

I thought this wheel would be great for racing games but, after using it for a while I find that I can control better holding the Wii remote as Nintendo suggest.

I bought this wheel to play one of the UBISOFT racing games with my son. It holds the Wii controller fine, but a bit tight. The wheel that came with the UBISOFT came was better (and 'free')

We bought this for my son for his Wii that he got this summer. He loves this steering wheel better then the white one that is not a full wheel. It makes the Indy game he got work better.

Bought this as a Christmas gift and it turned out to be much smaller than expected. Still works well for what it is intended for. Offers more life like experience when playing the Wii.

This does not come with a remote, but you stick your existing remote in it to play games like need for speed. It helps out a lot cause you do not have to hold a tiny remote. The only problem I have is I have small hands and they cramp after holding this and trying to hit buttons at the same time with it.

I bought this product for my sons to use with their Cars: The Movie game. I assumed that it would be more intuitive for them to try and control a car with and for the most part it was. My only complaint for that game is that the B button can be difficult to reach while driving, especially for little fingers. Some of the other buttons can also be tough to reach during the middle of the game so if you need access to anything other than 1,2 or the 4-way for a game, you may want to use just the Wii Remote. I have not tried it with any other racing games.
