All Form, No Function,
By Aaron "pixelosopher" (chicago) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wii Rayman Raving Rabbids Dual Charger (Accessory)
While this is a very cool, albeit kind of creepy peripheral, it fails to be good at the one function it is supposed to be doing, charging your remotes. The remotes can't lean far enough back in the cradle to keep a good connection. Also, as with some other chargers, the remotes won't sit in almost at all with the wrist-straps still attached. After playing with it some, I was able to get it charging though. I should have inspected the package before I bought it because then I would have seen the Mad Catz logo and never would have touched the thing. If you're a collector looking for a cool piece to add to the shelf then this will serve that purpose. If you are looking to buy your first remote charging station, skip this one.

Great Charger But Unreliable 4/4 battery charge,
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Rayman Raving Rabbids Dual Charger (Accessory)
This is a great charger even though I don't own any rabbid wii games. I may not like the video games based on rabbids but this one I had to get! I got this charger for christmas in 2010. The thing that annoyed me was that it was in the freeking blister package. It took me about 10 minutes to open without cutting myself. After that, I put on the new backs and batteries and put it on my wii game tower on the bottom and that's where it sits to this day. It took a quick 4-6 hours to charge but only keeps it active for about 8-11 hours (fresh batteries take about 10-20 days to wear out) which is already very good. The thing that annoyed me was for example, it wasn't reliable that the wii remotes were at 4/4 batteries. I realized that if I kept the remotes on the charger for about 15 hours-27 hours, the batteries were low and went down to a 1/4. The pros and cons of this charger will be listed down below.
Let's start with pros. 1. Very funny and creepy. 2. Has a fun way of charging the wii remotes. 3. An adorable rabbid is in the middle. 4. The wii remotes lock on perfectly. 5. It comes with 2 new backs for the wii remote and batteries. 6. Very well designed. 7. Eyes light up to indicate a wii remote's status (charged or charging). 8. Has a Rayman Raving Rsbbids logo on it. Now let's go to the cons. 1. Lights flash randomly somtimes when wii remotes are pulled. 2. Makes a little squeak that you can hear if you get close enough. 3. Unreliable with full 4/4 battery charge. 4. Can't leave the wii remotes on for so long or else... 5. Runs out of batteries a little too quickly Those are the pros/cons. Thank you if you said this was helpful.

This review is from: Wii Rayman Raving Rabbids Dual Charger (Accessory)
ever since i first played Raving Rabbids in ps2 i loved them, as well as my girlfriend. when i bought her the Wii and noticed that you have to buy batteries for the controllers (stupid idea) i knew we had to get rechargeable batteries. and when i saw this i was amazed!!! i immediately wanted it.
when i gave it to my girlfriend she just loved it!!! she couldn't believe her eyes!!! the batteries fit perfectly, on the wii controllers. the only thing you need to know it that you must remove the straps from the controller to charge them... kind of obvious i would say, but there are instructions saying that in case your common sense is not that good. the controllers charge in a descent time. and the Charger's eyes change when the controller is fully charged or charging, and well you have to unplug it whenever you are not using it because the Rabbids eyes are on all the time. but well we overall love it, and recommend it. its a great charger, great batteries, saves money and looks great!!!
