Inexpensive: you get what you pay for,

Like most of you at first, I was thrilled to get a charging station for such a good price. Unfortunately, now I know why. I charged the batteries fully for over 12 hours (as required) out of the box, and initially I got about a week's worth of play from each remote. However since then, the battery life has been awful. More often than not, when I pick up a remote to play I find it's dead... even after fully charging it a few days prior. When there IS enough power to play, it only lasts for a few hours.I would strongly recommend spending the extra money and getting a quality, name-band charger. I most certainly will as soon as I get around to replacing this P.O.S.

I am very pleased with my purchase of this product. I bought it before we even bought our Wii as we heard that the batteries get drained pretty quickly in the Wii remotes. This product comes with (two) rechargeable battery packs that fit into the Wii remotes. You just set your remote into the cradle (with the rubber skin removed) and the light below it will turn red indicating that it is charging..then once fully charged, the light will turn a bright blue. And I do mean BRIGHT! We no longer require the use of a nightlight in our living room due to the glow from the charger! The cord actually plugs into the USB port located in the back of the Wii console to charge instead of a AC plug. All in all, this product is great! A LOT cheaper than the Energizer ones that run about $35. A MUST HAVE for any Wii owner!

For those who had a great review... wait a month or 2 and then you will see why everyone else hates this product,

I purchased this product and at first loved it since I didn't have to keep buying batteries for my remotes. But after about 2 months the charger stopped charging the remotes and now it is a useless peace of crap. I suggest you spend a bit more to get something that will last longer then a month or two. I plan on getting a new charger after Christmas! Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product!!!

This is a convenient idea, but you have to be willing to keep your Wii turned on to charge the controllers. When I'm done, I shut down the Wii and these stop charging. Also, if you plan on using the silicone sleeves, they won't fit on the controller while in the charging dock.

The charger came on time and in good condition. Batteries once charged last for 3 to 4 days. Overall its worth the money.

Works great. Only issue is it plugs into the Wii, not into a socket. It charges when the Wii is on only. I like the wall socket charger better though I must say it works well and hold a charge.

Good quality,

These are a lot cheaper than the others you see in game stores, and once charged, last a long time. Get this kind instead of the expensive $39.99 ones at walmart or gamestores.

This product is cheaper than a lot of the other similar ones out there, but less expensive! Its lights display when charged, and the remotes last a long time when fully charged.

Before purchasing this I must have read all the reviews for all sorts of chargers. Common issues I came across were units not charging wiimotes, or battery life declining over time.Thankfully I haven't come across those problems yet [considering it's rechargeable I'm sure the battery life is declining considerably though]. One of the real problems, as some people noted, is getting the wiimote in the charger properly. If you sit it there normally even with the rubber grip off, chances are it won't charge. Easy fix: tape. Taping our wiimote down helped keep it in place. Yes, it's a bother that you have to spend the extra second doing so, but you're paying (hopefully) less than $10 for this. The charge light shines extra bright so even in the dark you know whether your wiimotes are charged or not. Red for not, blue for yes. The charger plugs into the wii, so if you shut down your console every night, it probably won't charge [ours is always on standby, so we've never had a problem]. If you're looking for something to get the job done, and for something cheap, then this would be for you.

Its hard to get the battery packs to charge and HOLD a Charge. You need to have the Wii on (only charges by USB) to charge them and the controller has to be active for it to charge also which means you have to press the buttons every so often to keep it going. The charging light (blinking red) does not always go on so you never know if its charging or not and you have to play with it (wiggle it) to sit in the cradle just right.
