Wii Remote & Nunchuk Skins (Pink)

This Wii Remote glove works well as a glove -- it improves the grip on the remote -- but only get it if your remote has rechargeable batteries of the type such that you put the whole remote into a charging cradle. That's because it's nearly impossible to replace AA batteries with this thing on, and it's a pain to take off and put back on. It has a hole in the back that works with the kind of recharging cradle where the remote leans against the electrodes. It doesn't have a hole to support the kind of charger where you plug a USB cable in the back.

I purchased this item based on a review that indicated this can be used with a charger..."there are cut outs in the back that allow the metal contacts from the remote to connect to the ones on the cradle". I guess I should have asked myself, "which type of charger?" I have a Nyko with slots for 2 remotes. This product DID NOT work or was not functional in conjunction with the Nyko charger. Although the skin is pretty tight on the remote, it was not thin or tight enough for the remote to sit snug in the cradle. In addition, it did not have the cut-outs in the right spots to secure the connection. I even made a precision cut on my own to see if it would work, and had the skin been thinner, it may have. But, needless to say, I had to end-up tossing in the garbage because it was useless. The whole reason I bought this product was so that I didn't have to remove the skin every time I needed to charge my remotes. DO NOT buy this product if you are thinking of using with a Nyko 2-remote charger... period.

Have written to have this item replace and no luck poor quality they ripped on first use.

Still in the original box and not being used.

Can you replace them for me did contact some time ago never heard anything back

They cover the controllers, but be careful putting them on. They tear very easily.

The skins fit well and feel good in my hand(s). I was particularly glad to note that the Wii Motion Plus will fit and lock with the skin installed. I simply rolled the skin back a bit, installed the Motion Plus, and then let the skin settle back in place. Because it's pink, the boys won't touch! I can always use "MY" Wii remote!

These skins are perfect for adding the to the fun of playing Wii...no chance of grabbing the wrong remote. Excellant quality and durability.

Looks good, but tore the first time it was removed to replace batteries. The skin is also not compatible with recharging systems, so it would need to be removed every time batteries need to be replaced. Not recommended!

Looks awesome, easy to slip on, and feels good in your hand when you're playing your wii!

The price was the determining factor. We do a lot of female/male competing, so I got the pink and blue.
The part that covers the Nunchuk gives you a better grip, but I prefer the textured skin that comes with the remote.

If you have more than one Wii-mote, and have different Mii's saved on them, you probably need a way to tell them apart. Wii-motes come with a nice skin to protect them, and give them a better grip but they're all made of the same clear material. I purchased this skin (in blue) to help me tell my two Wii-motes apart and I have not regretted the decision to do so. These skins are thinner than the ones which come standard with the Wii, but I became accustomed to it very quickly. It's nubbed on the back to increase grip-ability and comes with an additional skin for the nunchuck. It also comes with a color-coded wrist strap, which does not lock into place. Overall, it's a solid product. It is tough to remove when replacing batteries, but it is sturdy enough to not rip when doing so. I was hoping that these skins would be thin enough to allow them to be used with the Wii Zapper, but they are not.
